One of the dominant sides of Rav Kook’s personality, and foundational to his perspective on life, was the emotion of love. He simply loved everything that lived: “I can’t help but love all beings, all nations… Great is my love for all beings, for all reality. G-d forbid I allow into my heart even a hint of mischief, of hatred, of beings.
