Maverick and Wolfman are talking progression. Imagine running 26.2 miles in sweats. Imagine a race director trying to pull you off the course. My how it has changed. The gear is better and the times are faster. Don’t miss Maverick and Wolfman reminiscing and having some laughs.

I think it's a question we all ask ourselves. Why am I running? Why do I run? What is it, that I am doing here? The answer is internal and individual. Only you really know and maybe you don't even know. Either way we are glad you do.
Thanks for listening and supporting the show.

Wolfman's brother (The Jackal) is the guest. He is not only a well educated and talented runner but apparently a bit of kryptonite to Wolfman's Marathoning. This episode covers many funny and interesting topics.
FYI The Jackal ran for Washington and Jefferson . He has ran multiple marathons including Pittsburgh, Boston, New York, etc.
"Bridges are terrible...Pittsburgh has tons of them!"
"I felt like my knee was going to explode from the inside out!"
Butter in coffee? "It was trending." hahahahaha

Hey Guys!
Maverick here!
I finally ran a 10 mile race (The Wyoming Valley Run). It was the most I have run in a single day in 17 years. I must say that although there were times when my legs said this isn't worth it and times the cramps made me want to walk off the course I knew it would be worth it to press on and persevere. My co-host and best friend Wolfman kept me positive. Comments like, "You got this Mav!" lifted me just enough to run a little more and a little more. Thank you Wolfman for the inspiration, motivation, and random stories that made me laugh. Hahaha In addition I want to thank my wife, who is always there for me when I need her most, my family and friends for cheering me on, our old teammates we reminisced with, all of the race officials, volunteers, runners and spectators and listeners that made us smile and laugh. - Maverick
