Today, I’m getting real about something I’ve experienced firsthand: the pressure we face as founders to keep pushing, hustling, and showing up no matter what. Last Christmas, I woke up from a coma, and while it wasn’t some dramatic, life-changing moment in itself, it forced me to ask some tough questions: How far are we willing to push ourselves? What does “getting it done” really cost us?
In this episode, I want to explore hustle culture, the pressure to always be “on,” and the toll it can take on our health—mentally, physically, and emotionally. I’m sharing what burnout taught me in 2023 and how I’ve been showing up differently in 2024. Yes, I still get things done, but now, it’s with more balance, health, and a whole lot of gratitude.
So, let me ask you—how are you balancing your ambition with your well-being? Are you grinding just to keep up, or are you building something that’s truly sustainable for you? Let’s have a conversation about how we can all do better while still chasing our wildest dreams.
This episode is genuinely personal, so please let me know if you could relate and how it made you feel. @jennadaviesmarketing

"How do you make friends as an adult?" "How do you find such inspiring friends?" "How do you and your friends all run businesses?"
These are all questions I'm often asked and I'm so blessed to be connected to truly inspiring people who lead the way in their industries and businesses. Coming to London, one thing I've been blown away by is how eager everyone is to network and connect with new people. Most people I've met aren't from London so meeting and making friends is a focus, second to their true mission in business or fulfilling their purpose.
In our episode "Making Friends Who Inspire You," you'll join me, Jenna and one of my best friends, Jess, as we explore the transformative power of cultivating friendships that ignite your passions and align with your values. These are the conversations you've been searching for – ones that cut through the noise and get to the heart of what it truly means to design a life filled with intention, integrity, and a little bit of audacity.
Ever consider how making meaningful connections can lead to unexpected business opportunities? Or how embracing diversity in your friendships can open your mind to vibrant new ideas and perspectives? Imagine an existence where your network does more than just socialise – they push you to set bigger goals, encourage you when the going gets tough, and celebrate your victories as if they were their own.
By listening to "She's Taking Over," you join a community of ambitious individuals who understand that the right friends can double as your biggest motivators and your advisors. Jess shares the life-altering choices she's made since joining forces with Jenna, from taking professional leaps to making personal life changes – all because they dared to demand more from their inner circle.
And as a listener, you won’t just be tuning in; you’ll be taking an active step toward redefining your own friendships and future. Plus, as part of our listener family, you'll gain exclusive access to our girl-only Facebook group – a space designed for connection, growth, and mutual empowerment.
