Allow yourself to step back as we approach the holidays, so that you can feel and understand your emotions and preconceptions of what your expectations of the holidays really mean to you.
Keeping perspective of how these few days of celebration may completely overtake your life to the point of overwhelm, burnout and anxiousness is so important. Work, family, shopping, decorating, social events... it all adds up.
Maintaining your regiment of self care during the holiday season is also super important to avoid burnout and fatigue.

My guest Dr. Esther Onyoni is a practicing pharmacist with a holistic approach and belief system in treating her clients. She has worked many years with diabetes patients and watched as their initial diagnosis and treatment progressed from 2 or 3 prescriptions to numerous prescriptions and complete overwhelm & confusion.
Dr. Esther believes that patients must learn to better advocate for themselves and as a health coach, she works individually with her clients to create daily steps to improved wellness.
We have an interesting chat about my being a conspiracy theorist about the pharmaceutical industry and how I don't believe the industry wants anyone to be cured... they just want to sell their drugs... oh boy.
