One of my favourite people in the world is back!
AJ Zeglen is my most repeated guest for a reason.
He was my former boss, an incredible mentor, and now a good friend.
We are very like-minded on so many things when it comes to ideas within training and nutrition.
So, I had to have him on again to discuss some of the hot topics on social media these days.
And this is an IN PERSON episode!
These are the most fun episodes because they have a much more realistic conversation flow.
In this episode we discuss:
- Are microplastics a real concern?
- How does AJ feel about Naturopaths?
- What are his feelings on Ozempic?
- Celebrities and steroids
- Is cold therapy good or bad?
- How would AJ program conditioning for a Boxer?
- What is AJ’s new business all about?

You’re probably used to hearing “Sugar is toxic!”
Does this mean all sugars?
Did you know…there are many different types of sugars and some are really healthy?
Dr. Lewis has done research to discover two types of saccharides (sugars) that can help treat metabolic disease and Alzheimer's.
Dr. John Lewis was a researcher, with over 180 publications in the top scientific journals, and he came across some amazing plants.
He discovered that rice bran and aloe vera have unique properties that can improve a person’s immune system function.
They even saw cognitive improvement scores for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s better than any other medication or product known to man!
In this episode we discuss:
How he started in bodybuilding but why he left
How he got into research
What is so beneficial about Rice Bran?
What benefits were seen from Aloe vera?
How his product tested on patients with Alzheimer’s
Why did the NIH or Alzheimer’s Society not want to use this product?
This episode is a really detailed scientific discussion, BUT it features some amazing discoveries.
I think Dr. Lewis has discovered something incredible here and more people should know about this product.

Want to get rid of your Dad-bod?
Can you sculpt your body when you’re over the age of 35?
Dane’s 5 pillar system can help you do just that.
Dane Palarino initially owned two 7-figure head hunting businesses, and despite having money, he didn’t have happiness.
Despite doing 60 minutes of working out, and 16-hour fasts, he couldn’t believe how bad he felt about how he looked.
So he picked up a pair of 25lbs dumbbells and started on his own fitness journey.
He not only completely sculpted his body to be in amazing shape, but he’s now on a mission to help other dads do the same thing.
In this episode, we talk about
- How he changed his dad-bod
- His 5 pillars of health
- How he helps his clients improve their metabolism
- How fasting can make your metabolism worse
- Do you need to do fasted cardio?
- What are dads missing in training and nutrition?
This is an interesting episode as Dane does have some beliefs and systems that are different than mine.
So you may notice minor debating on his tactics, and at the end of the episode I address how I feel differently and do not agree totally with all of his ideas.
However, I feel he has a great system that can work awesome for many people, so I highly suggest listening in to hear all about it!

Why would someone want to become a fighter?
Why join the military?
Alec Irvine has a story to tell about just that.
Alec is a former client of mine. He worked with me when he was a teenager, around 15-16 years old, maybe 140-150lbs, and he’s now around the age of 22-23 years old, and 190lbs.
He’s not only turned into a fully grown man but also a man of the military.
I worked with Alec in both his skill development but also he training and nutrition, and we discussed all the lessons he used along the way.
And this is a LIVE interview. So you can catch the full video version on YouTube. Or Spotify.
In this episode, we talk about:
- Why he wanted to fight
- Losing his father at a young age
- The calling he had to be a fighter
- His experience starting in boxing
- How strength, conditioning, and nutrition impacted his boxing
- Why joined the military and his experience in it
- His most recent ambition in MMA and the military
If you know anyone interested in boxing, MMA, or the military, please share this with them!
