  • Hey aviators! Welcome to The Aviator’s Guide hosted, recorded and edited by Hollie Bellino. This episode goes into the details of each license and rating you can expect to get while doing your flight training including the order you will get them, the minimum flight hour requirements and some insider tips. This is a great episode for anyone who is just starting flight school or looking to begin their aviation journey.

Edit: having your CFII, also, allow you to instruct pilots getting their CFII rating (as long as it is not said student’s INITIAL flight instructor rating - usually the CFI is the initial license and the CFII is a rating). Also, not every flight school that hires you will pay for your MEI, necessarily.
