In this episode, Seth met up Curtis Braun at The Cinnamon Spoon in Bragg Creek. They previously worked together and forged a friendship over the last few years.
Curtis shared his views on the current state of HR in the workplace and some of the shifts he's seen over his career and what opportunities he sees on the horizon.
As well, the guys dove into a conversation about Curtis's experience being the father of a neurodivergent child. Curtis and his wife made a dramatic decision during the pandemic to sell their house, pack up into their SUV, and embark on an 18 month adventure to the Southern US and Mexico with their son.
Despite being advised against disrupting their sons routine, they made a calculated choice to do what they felt was best for their family and not only did they learn a ton - they saw amazing progress in their son through the process.
