  • Summary

A breakthrough session is a process that involves release, initiation, and transmutation. It consists of four steps: releasing work, creating a powerful vision, taking action, and focusing on what you want. The detailed personal history is the first step, where the client discusses their problems and explores the context and structure of those problems. The release work involves techniques like NLP and meditation to release emotions and beliefs. The session also focuses on creating a clear picture of the future and setting goals. The session works at a quantum physics level, changing beliefs and perceptions to change reality. It can also have a profound impact on physical health and healing. The session helps clients connect deeper to their highest selves and opens them up to higher states of consciousness.

In this podcast episode, the speaker discusses the concepts of Gestalt and Mental and Emotional Release®. Gestalts are like folders in the unconscious mind that contain labeled emotional events. These events can range from small to significant, forming a timeline of emotional experiences. The root cause of emotions is often found in the first event of that emotion, which may have occurred early in life. Mental and Emotional Release® involves releasing the baggage associated with these gestalts and addressing the underlying problem. This approach can be effective in treating severe trauma and PTSD.

  • Join Thomas, Anne, and Dani Shedden as we discuss what it takes to be healthy in wildland fire.

Dani explores the CISM, CBT therapy, and why mental health is physical too. We talk about gut health, PT, bodywork, acupuncture, and meditation. We discuss the grief process and why acceptance and surrender can create powerful healing. We go deep into why building your team of supporters is so important.

"Yeah, and you know there's no real answer or timeframe of how someone's gonna handle grief or how it's gonna impact them, and what I will say is when we go through something traumatic or we have a loss and we're grieving that. As clinicians, the biggest thing that we do is listen and support and understand the grief cycle. There's no real order in how we grieve. I think that some losses we have we will feel for our whole lives. It's how we handle that loss and how we allow ourselves some space to grieve and then how we seek treatment."
