For our final Well-Being Wednesday of Season 2, we're diving into the topic of slowing. Slowing is good for our souls, and it is critical to embrace being followers of Jesus. When we practice slowness intentionally, we are actually training to follow Jesus.

Undoubtedly, we are in the middle of a storm. Today, Jon challenges us with the question, will you be a cow or a bison? That might sound a little funny at first, but Jon taught us that cows run from the storm and bison run into the storm. If you want to be a bison, you can start implementing the helpful tips Jon gave us on how we can actually do that.

At Mission, our values are to Gather, Grow, and Go. Today, Jon, Tommy, and Dan are de-bunking misconceptions about going missionally. While going missionally is about others, it actually is an opportunity for Jesus to transform us through the process.
-
Today, Jon and Bryan are leading us through the topic of simplicity. It seems to be hardest to make time for some of the most simple, basic, and fundamental things. But if we listen to the commands of God and spend a lifetime on the simple, God will work out the complex.
-
Today, Jon led us in taking our thoughts captive. We may not have control over the events that happen in our lives, but the response we choose will determine the outcome.

The guys are here for #FridayWhyDay and we are so excited to share more about our new campaign BE. FOR. This campaign exists to raise funds for the working poor, the fatherless, and the trafficked. It’s easy to be against, we are choosing instead, to BE. FOR.

Today we live out the words of Jesus from Mathew 6. We refuse to worry. We choose to worship. Jesus, show us the way forward.

We're switching it up and Bryan Silver is joining us today to continue our conversation on the Sabbath. The Sabbath isn't just about physical rest, there may actually be times that God is calling us to work on the Sabbath. If God says you should move, then you will gain more rest by obedience than if you were to do nothing.
-
We've got a big weekend ahead! We're celebrating Never The Same and all that God has done through Never The Same over the last 2 years. So today for #FridayWhyDay, we're sharing some awesome stories from the day we purchased the building in 2018 all the way to 2020.
-
In today’s episode, we are continuing our conversation about the Sabbath. Rest is essential! We can’t live without it. But are we ready to let God be God and be our Sabbath rest?
-
We're switching it up and focusing our Mondays for the next few weeks on MINDSET. Today, Jon gave us some insight into 1 Thessalonians 5:18; "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." God's will for our lives is gratitude. How would our lives look different if we lived a life thanking God for what we have instead of always asking for more?
-
It's easy to get disconnected right now, especially with your church. That's why we do #FridayWhyDay! We want you to feel connected here. Today, Jon, Tommy, and Dan shared wins from the week, some exciting news about Never The Same, and wrapped up their discussion on the book Flesh by Hugh Halter.
-
Today, Jon and Bryan dive into the question: What is the Sabbath? So often as Christians, we overlook the Sabbath. Other than Chik-fil-A being closed, our lives are too busy to notice that we should be slowing down. God designed us to be His people and for Him to be our God. He gives us rest through Sabbath, we just have to slow down and obey His commandment, "Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy."

Today, Jon and Dr. Sanjay Merchant are closing out our series through the book of Philippians by reading a letter from Paul to two women. Our times and cultures are different today than they were when this letter was written, but the message remains the same. Unity is critical to the foundation of belonging to the Lord.
-
The guys have been reading Flesh by Hugh Halter and today they are tackling the topic of confrontation. Hugh describes confrontation as, "That divine moment where grace leads to truth, and where truth is allowed to confront people with their need for God." Facing confrontation is difficult, but thankfully we have a perfect example in Jesus. He was a friend of sinners and we should be too.

Silence and solitude are hard to come by, our lives are constantly interrupted by any number of things. We have to intentionally create space for solitude and today, Jon and Bryan inspire us to do just that. Jesus came to give us abundant life, not a distracted life!
-
One of the most popular verses in the whole Bible is found in Philippians 4. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” - Philippians 4:6 Today we dive into what the Bible says about anxiety. Anxiety is not a sin. It is a signal letting us know that we are out of position.
-
Jesus asked 307 questions. Jesus was asked 183 questions. Jesus answered 3 questions. Today Jon, Dan, and Tommy are talking about the importance of conversation. Jesus did relationships with people and He wants us to come back to how He did it.
-
Today, Bryan is answering your questions! He helps us navigate difficult conversations regarding current events like the election and the pandemic. As well as, offering some guidance on when to have a confrontation regarding someone's bad behavior and when to let it go. Finally, he gives us advice on carrying others burdens without being crushed by the weight of it. You don't want to miss this episode!
