Amanda Moore (@noturtlesoup) returns to discuss her visit to our hometown following Nick Fuentes and his AFPAC tour's stop in Detroit (the A stands for Asshole or something). How are the groypers integrating into TPUSA and the GOP, and why are they letting these no-good Mediterranean bums lead it? Amanda explains why the far right doesn't even really fucking care (and somehow even apparently encourages) Spaniards to be white now in the face of the Demoncrats' alleged Satanic multiculturalism as well as a host of other topics. Despite that, most of the conversation revolves around our experiences together outside America's Buttfest (or whatever the TPUSA Detroit conference was called this summer as well as the future potential of several stripes of the freak-right going forward Enjoy.

In this episode Jim speaks with labor historian Harvey Schwartz, author of Labor under Siege: Big Bob McEllrath and the ILWU's Fight for Organized Labor in an Anti-Union Era. Labor Under Siege is is an oral history prepared with Ronald Magden that chronicles how a mature American workers’ organization, the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), survived serious challenges in recent decades from employers, government agencies, and even other unions. It won an Independent Publisher Book Awards (aka IPPY) gold medal, a Nautilus Book Awards silver prize, a National Indie Excellence Awards winner designation, and was an Independent Publishers of New England Book Awards finalist. A prior volume, Building the Golden Gate Bridge: A Workers’ Oral History (University of Washington Press), was a Nautilus Book Awards silver winner in 2016. It recounts how ironworkers and other construction craftspeople overcame dangerous job conditions and the hardships of the Great Depression to build one of America’s most iconic bridges. In this interview Jim and Harvey discuss the post-Harry Bridges era of the ILWU, their victories in the anti-union neoliberal era and what lessons the new wave of labor organizers can learn from the historically radical union.

Congratulations! If you're reading this, it means you're still listening after my extended break due to a car accident> What better way to come back than releasing the forgotten Napoleon episode. If there was one movie made for this show, it was Joker Phoenix's take on L'empereur in 2023's Napoleon, a piece of weird incel propaganda by Ridley Scott after he waws clearly driven insane by the success of 2022's Top Gun: Maverick. I'll be back with more when Scott releases his promised director's cut later this year.

James Carey, Activist, Analyst, and Podcast Host of The Left is Dead spoke to Backstory host Rachel Blevins about the US allowing Israel to strike southern Gaza, Israel targeting more hospitals in Gaza, and Biden seemingly being afraid to criticize Israel. James talked about the bombing campaign by Israel and how the American people will normalize the deaths that continue to occur in Gaza, at the hands of Israel.

We watched another movie and boy do they just keep getting worse! This time the documentary film in question is the latest Dinesh D/Souza joint attacking the creeping police state in America. From Hunter Biden smoking crack and a bunch of hogs pretending they didn't cheer the Patriot Act when it passed to Dinesh again proving he is still the real victim of the police state for his girlfriend's husband acting as his straw donor this movie has it all! So buckle in and try to keep up with some of the lamest 'whistleblowers' we've seen since the Project Veritas musical and please keep in mind that you cannot sue the creators of this film or this podcast for any whiplash that could occur due to the constant rapid subject changes.

Well folks, my PC died and I might've misplaced a flash drive with this audio in my garage somehow but this one is worth the wait. This time Nathan and I dive back into one of our favorite topics: Mormons. On top of the LDS angle, we have it all: giants, bad translations of the bible, and yeah, we got Nephilim folks. So for all of your sake, we got the one guy we knew could help us better understand all this, Dr. Dan McClellan. Dan received a Ph.D. in theology and religion from the University of Exeter and now is one of our favorite scholars. Honestly, he has a long list of credentials but some standouts are his career with the Church of Latter Day Saints working to better understand the original Greek and Hebrew scripture, author of YHWH's Divine Images, one-half of the Data Over Dogma Podcast, and frankly, makes good content.

In this episode we speak with retired professor of history Robert Cherny and discuss his book Harry Bridges: Labor Radical, Labor Legend. Dr. Cherny’s book covers the life and times of Harry Bridges from a new perspective while still keeping the history of the ILWU and its rank and file in perspective. In this conversation we touch on everything from Bridges’ early life to his later years and as much as we could fit in between.
You can find Dr. Cherny’s book here: https://rb.gy/cqk8e -
In this episode, Nathan and Jim speak with Robbie Martin of Media Roots Radio to talk about the biggest Tuesday theatrical release since they started releasing movies on Fridays: Sound of Freedom. Nathan and Jim will be back with more thoughts on this dog shit movie but in the meantime, we wanted to talk to Robbie about the anti-normie press junkets, the strange melding of the dead-eyed Mormons and Sedevancist Catholics, how Mel Gibson is involved with the movie despite the fact that he's not, and a host of other things that pissed us off about Operation Underground Railroad last time we talked about them.

The sort-of return of Old Time Religion is here and let me apologize up front for the some moments in the audio where you can hear me moving things around, I forgot to record separate audio tracks.
With that out of the way, for this episode Nathan and I spoke with medium, spiritualist, and practitioner of witchcraft, Jessica Karels about her spirituality and mysticism. In that framework, we hit on everything from tarot readings to the incorporation of new-age spirituality being coopted by this fine nation's latest breed of far-right lunatics.

Returning guest Aidan Mattis of The Lore Lodge and The Weird Bible Podcast joins Nathan and Jim to go further into his political beliefs barely touched on in the last three hour interview. So...we decided to do another one. The initial premise was to have a conservative define socialism for us. Naturally, this means the conversation ran off and touched on everything from trans beer, gay books, eating the bugs, Soros, and some classic Christian sectarianism. Plus a bonus derailment on the question we all ask ourselves: Who has the correct paperwork and DNA to get Palestine?
We still love Aidan's work though and you should check him out. You can find everything at https://aidanmattis.carrd.co/ -
Jim joins Garland Nixon and Dr. Wilmer Leon to discuss the the Turkish elections now heading to a runoff at the end of this month. Then they move on to news of the Israeli occupation. Spoiler, Erdogan probably has this one in the bag. Also, it may surprise you to find out that the only thing predictable about Israel is that they'll always surprise you with how shitty they are.

Jim and Nathan talk with Alex Fink, founder of the public benefit corporation Other Web, which provides “a walled-garden of pristine information where all junk has been filtered out, and users have complete control over what appears in their feeds and in what order.” We discuss the incentives producing clickbait and misinfo, journalism, deterioration of search engines and social media via ads, sponsored results, and “junk news”, how Fink developed his platform, the proposal to nationalize Google or other sites, government regulation of speech, AI, and the automation of labor.

Old episode I kind of lost the audio, but only for a little while. Either way enjoy a discussion Jim & Nathan had in the recent past with Dale Hutchison, fellow content creator, poster, and host of Coffee Time Again. We just had a casual conversation to hear Dale's beliefs as an independent voter. Hopefully, this makes up for all of our years of canceling everyone and telling people to read theory.

Jim joins Radio Sputnik's Critical Hour to speak with hosts Garland Nixon and Dr. Wilmer Leon about Turkey. The Turks are furious over a Quran burning in Sweden and have vowed to block Sweden's entry into NATO. Also, whisperings of Turkey's exit from NATO are growing in Ankara.

That’s right! We’re talking labor, capital, markets, economical, proletariat v bourgeoisie and Starbucks!Jim and Nathan spoke with Jon Melrod and Tyler Daguerre about labor organizing. What changed from the 1970s through 2020s and what remained the same? Jon’s autobiography Fighting Times: Organizing on the Front Lines of the Class War (2022) recounts his 1960s through early 80s time as a political activist and labor organizer before becoming an immigration lawyer. Tyler discusses organizing with Starbucks United in Massachusetts and speaking with Jon about his experience. What can different generations of labor organizers learn from each other?
