If youâve ever daydreamed about being home with your kids homeschooling them, but have worried "can I really do it?" then today's guest, Pilar Bewley is here to give you the gentle encouragement that you absolutely can.
How Pilar came to accidentally be a stay-at-home homeschooling momThe way the âpreparedness of the adultâ is crucial for the success of Montessori schoolingHow homeschooling can be a huge catalyst for a parentâs inner development and growthCommon objections to homeschooling and how to overcome them
Pilar lives her life as a Montessori-trained homeschooling mom and an online homeschool coach. She grew up between Mexico and the United States, and has spent the past decade dismantling the conflicting and limiting messages of mothering and womanhood she received from both cultures. Pilar helps parents to embrace homeschooling as a spiritual practice, and follows the Montessori principles to guide parents and children towards their full potential in education and life.

If youâve ever wondered what it would take to get better behavior from your kids without excessive requests, threats, or discipline that didnât feel in line with your parenting values you may just be overlooking this part of the equation. In todayâs show Iâm chatting with Ann Kaplan, a parenting coach who is going to answer that question.
Ann is a mother of four children and a parent coach based in Denver, Colorado.
She has lived the dream (and difficulty) of parenting through every childhood stage, from infancy through adolescence. She understands not only the joys but the difficulties and worries that come as a parent.
Ann has a unique holistic approach to parent work that includes emotional support, home management skills, AND effective discipline that empowers children while improving behavior.
She coaches women through various stages of motherhood -- from conception to the transition into their new motherhood role, to behavioral challenges, to starting a business with kids in tow.
Ann is someone who will give it to you straight and love you fiercely.
The biggest obstacle Ann sees that keeps parents back from doing what they know they need to do with their childrenThe âmagical hocus pocusâ that working with your nervous system can do for better family harmonyThe accidental hypocrisy many parents engage in when it comes to their own emotions + feelings What emotional attunement with our kids is and what it isnâtHow enforcing boundaries with our kids is an act of service for them
