In this episode of ROR Factor Podcast, I interviewed Paul Cardall. Musician Paul Cardall has done music for multiple different films and has won the gospel music association award and the Dove Award. Paul has built incredible relationships in the music industry which have greatly affected his career growth. Today, Paul Cardall discusses different types of relationships and how each type is formed and strengthened differently ranging from romantic relationships with your partner, spiritual relationships with God, family relationships, and professional relationships. He starts with romantic relationships and how hardships have strengthened his marriage, deepened the connection between him and his wife, and taught them resilience. Paul also shares his personal journey with heart conditions and having a heart transplant, and he reflects on his parents' approach to his illness, emphasizing faith, acceptance, and surrender, rather than focusing solely on recovery. Vos and Paul then discuss how forcing relationships can lead to transactional interactions, which is the opposite of genuine lifelong connections. They also dive into how spiritual guidance and communication with God have led them to meaningful relationships. The conversation concludes with reflections on Paul Cardall’s career and music journey and Paul highlighting key relationships and the role they played in his success. Cardall also shares tips for overcoming the fear of rejection and building meaningful relationships. They also discussed how personality tests can promote self-awareness and more understanding towards different types of people in relationships to deal with each person the right way.
