The episode where Boydston brings us a cryptid from Australia, the Yara-Ma-Yha-Who. That is the real name, no lies. Yara is going to join our favorite friends from Down Under, Drop Bear and Bill the Australian Yeti. You let us know who you would rather encounter. Yara is a cute little guy but he’s also pretty gross and Lindsey and Sarah have SO many questions. Could you outrun Yara? Are you faster than Sarah? How does he drink your blood? SO MANY QUESTIONS, but see if we can answer them (probably not)!

The episode where we did a haunted investigation at the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, KS! The Eldridge has a long history of hauntings and is in in the heart of downtown Lawrence. Turns out, Lawrence was pretty important when it comes to the civil war. Lawrence is near and dear to our hearts for different reasons, but this time we got to experience it together! We tried to relive our college glory days on Mass street and realized that maybe we should leave the cheerleading jumps in our past (because, ouch).

The episode where Big Abe comes back to haunt us…just in time for our paranormal episode. Lindsey takes us to Mexico for the history or the famous Island of Dolls. This place is the creepiest of the creepy. Next up is Sarah with the Mississippi House from the documentary, The House In Between. Both of the Sarah's can spell Mississippi really fast too. Next up is Boydston with the cursed Basano vase from the 15th century. This vase brings death to anyone who possesses it, so make sure you know what you're buying online, guys.

The episode where Sarah brings us some Germany true crime, and we really aren’t making this up: it’s the Vampire of Düsseldorf. Peter Kürten was the worst of the worst, so trigger warnings for this story, guys. He caused a lot of mayhem and said some pretty gross things once he was captured. Again, sorry, but he really sucks.

The episode where Boydston brings us another wonderful WTF History story: Project X-Ray. Never heard of it? Good, neither had we. This was back in WWII times when ethics weren’t really a thing. And one guy, Adams, hated bats, so he pitched an idea to the government to drop bat bombs against Japan after Pearl Harbor. We’re not kidding, people actually considered dropping exploding bats on Japan before you know, the nuclear bomb idea caught on. Dora would be ashamed of our new bat pack song, sorry not sorry. History, man.

The episode where we kick off Spooky Season! Lindsey is going to share some paranormal stories from the hospital, because if any place is gonna be haunted, it’s a hospital. These stories from Reddit are sure to make you want to investigate a hospital, and we’ll share our experiences and superstitions too. We’ll also share our newest documentary obsession…and it’s crazy.

The episode where we share our spookiest investigation to date! This is the Whiteface House in Yates Center, KS. And you guys, we aren’t lying when we say this is our highest rated investigation yet. Poltergeist activity, hammers being thrown, spooky dolls yeeting themselves at us, and an almost 911 call. True to form, the spirits are over us and our singing…something about ghost hunts just puts us in a musical mood, what can we say? This place is a gem.

The episode where Boydston brings us some true crime of our new favorite bear…Cocaine Bear! She’s kind of an expert on bears now, FYI. Listen, you may know of Cocaine Bear because of the cinematic genius of a movie, but do you REALLY know the story? Because it involves a lot of cocaine…like…A LOT, a bear that can marry you in Kentucky, and lots of animal zoomies. The true story is kind of sad, but we are going to believe that Cocaine Bear had the time of their lives at the end.

The episode where Lindsey brings us a smorgasbord from England (because she totally went to London too). We’re going to July 1980 to attend the Forest League of Juvenile Jazz Bands…we have our instruments, we’re ready to go…then people start fainting. The Hollinwell Incident was a mass fainting spell, but nobody knows what happened. Mass hysteria? Chemical cloud? Massive food poisoning? Government experiments? Or…aliens? You let us know!

The episode where Sarah shares some haunted stories from our recent trip across the pond…and by our, I mean all 3 of us were totally there. Lindsey just may have some amnesia related to this trip, nbd. While in London, the Sarahs of course went on a haunted tour which included 50 Berkeley Square. One of the spirits appears as a brown mist, so…sharts, obviously. We’re sorry in advance, London.

The episode where we bone home…jk. But we do go to an investigation close to home as we hit up the Masonic Lodge in Independence, MO! Listen, we may know a Mason and be free, but we are not Free Masons, and women were not allowed in these lodges when they were initially constructed. So all that adds up to us antagonizing some male spirits, talking about the Truman Stroll Trail, and spirits taking over our pictures…again.

The episode where Lindsey tells us some true crime, some fun facts, and we learn something nobody should ever know about. But first, this is the story of Matthew Milat, great nephew to Ivan Milat who you may remember from one of Sarah’s true crimes. Murder appears to run in this family, so we make a return trip to Australia with our favorite Australian Yeti. And Sarah introduces us to…the merkin. Apologies in advance.

The episode where Sarah shares some folklore and cryptids from her trip to Germany on The Rhine River! We request she only cover German stories from here on, because this is fascinating stuff. First, she reveals the lore behind Lorelei Rock, and then we take a quick trip over to the Black Forest to discuss a new cryptid friend and Hell Valley (cousin to Death Valley). We love you, Germany, and all your creepiness.

The episode where Boydston brings us a paranormal story, but first we need to talk about Sarah’s dog, Boobs. You don’t need to tell us what we already know: this is the best dog name ever. Boydston is going to tell us a story about a legally haunted house, the Ackley House in New York. If you’re wondering what makes a haunted house legal vs illegal, fear not for you are in good company. We’ll learn what the Ghostbuster Ruling and what that means for a haunted house.

The episode where we return to the 1858 Garnett House Hotel in Garnett, KS. It’s been 4 years since we were here (episode 47), so we HAD to return! If you don’t remember, this is the place where Sarah teleported, a ball flew at the Sarahs, and we heard footsteps while we slept. This time around, we encountered a doll named Sarah and she threw us for a loop. Garnett continues to show us poltergeist activity and we are here for it!

Originally published 2/6/21: The episode where we did a group presentation, just like school days! This week we are covering the Paris Catacombs, which we’re pretty sure that everything stems from this place...Star Wars, Harry Potter, Blair Witch Project...you get it. We’re gonna give a warning out here that this place is incredibly dangerous and to please take caution before visiting. Beware the demon werewolf, take some silver bullets, and enjoy all of Boydston’s Zak impressions!

The episode where Sarah brings us some true crime about Jolly Jane, who is really not that jolly. Jane Toppan was a nurse who liked to kill…she missed the day of orientation when “Do No Harm” is covered. Jane killed numerous patients in Massachusetts from 1895-1901 and is thought to be one of the most unusual female serial killers due to her motives behind the killings. Look, we have lots of questions here: where were her preceptors? How did she get away with it for so long? And where was Florence?! She would never.

The episode where Boydston brings us another mummy story for our smorgasbord episode! This is Ötzi the Iceman, a wet mummy who was discovered in the Alps between Austria and Italy in 1991. Ötzi was preserved so perfectly, it is thought he had lived back in 3230 BC (Before Destiny’s Child, guys). We love a good mummy story, and Otzi is definitely one of a kind!

The episode where we discuss a paranormal story that inspired one of the most famous horror movies! This is the story of Popper the Poltergeist, a mischievous little spirit who liked to pop bottles. Clever name, we know. Popper just wants to be heard, okay?! And maybe make a bit of a mess while he’s at it.
