White House Correspondents Association president Zeke Miller with the AP complained: “It is outrageous for the president to have left the hospital — even briefly — amid a health crisis without a protective pool present to ensure that the American people know where their president is and how he is doing. Now more than ever, the American public deserves independent coverage of the president so they can be reliably informed about his health.”

"Win, lose, or draw in this election, will you commit here today for a peaceful transferal of power after the election?" a reporter asked the president during a press briefing. "We're going to have to see what happens. You know that I've been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster," Trump replied. "Get rid of the ballots, and you'll have a very transfer — we'll have a very peaceful — there won't be a transfer, frankly. There'll be a continuation."

“I’m not speaking to President Trump who will do whatever he wants. I’m not speaking to Mitch McConnell who will do what he wants and what he does. I’m speaking to those Republicans out there — Senate Republicans — who know deep down what is right for the country and consistent with the Constitution as I stand here in the Constitution Center. Not just what’s best for their party,” Biden said during a speech in Philadelphia.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats want to stop the Commander-In-Chief, even if that means impeaching him.
Stephanopoulos asked Pelosi, “Some have mentioned the possibility if they try to push through a nominee in a lame-duck session, that you and the House could move to impeach President Trump or Attorney General Barr as a way of stalling and to prevent the Senate from acting on this nomination.”

Feb 7, 2020: Trump — It goes through air, Bob. That’s always tougher than the touch. You know, the touch, you don’t have to touch things. Right? But the air, you just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed. … And so, that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than your—you know, your, even your strenuous flus. You know, people don’t realize, we lose 25,000, 30,000 people a year here. Who would ever think that, right? Pretty amazing. And then I say, well, is that the same thing? This is more deadly. This is 5 per—you know, this is 5 percent versus 1 percent and less than 1 percent. You know? So, this is deadly stuff.
