Hello TryAthlete community,
Welcome to a new episode of the podcast with an old college friend Raghav Goel!
In this episode, Raghav takes us through preparing for his first IM70.3 in Goa. He walks us through his approach to preparation and how he chose his coach. Since he also runs a business and has a family with 2 kids, he also shares the trade-offs he had to make to prepare for the event and how his wife supported him throughout!
Raghav's race day was nothing short of a Greek drama! All his well planned strategies had to be abandoned due to unexpected challenges on race day which include getting stung by jellyfish on the swim and consuming bad dates just prior to his run! Oops! Despite the challenges, Raghav powered through in true Iron Man fashion with some wise encouragement from his young son who cheered him on with the rest of his family! Listen to the episode to hear Raghav's story and let us know what you think!
And as usual if you enjoy the episode - please Like, Share and Subscribe to the channel!
Thanks,
Ram
