Episodi
-
In our fifth episode of the year, we once again have to keep things tight talking about two early 2000 comedies. Also lots of talk about Marvel with the new Spider-Man trailer and What If? And more
Music
The Eels - Mr E's Beautiful Blues
Tom Green - The Salmon Song
Wage War - With Teeth
Joey Ramone - What a Wonderful World
Next time, we talk about Tremors. Yes, just one movie.
-
Woah... are you talking to me? Hooha! Yes, Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino (plus Keanu Reeves of course) are in this episode and they are both the devil! Jake is first with Angel Heart with DeNiro and Mickey Rourke, but even if they were not on a time limit that rundown wouldn't be too long. Then of course Sean is assigned with The Devil's Advocate with Pacino and Reeves, wouldn't have it any other way.
Music
New Year's Day - Angel Eyes
Air on a G String
Memphis May Fire - Death Inside
Next time it's Without a Paddle and Road Trip
-
Episodi mancanti?
-
A year after the year of tornadoes, 1997 was the year for volcanoes apparently as we got two movies. One being Dante's Peak with Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton and then Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones. Which one is better, which is more scientifically accurate? Take a listen and find out!
Music
Randy Newman - I Love LA
Captain Covington - Sudden Explosion
Dethklok - Volcano
Beartooth - Devastation
Next time around, we talk two of the biggest actors Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino being the devil, with Angel Heart and The Devil's Advocate
-
And we return after yet another extended break! And unfortunately once again this show had to be tight after a late start but we still bring you all a good one! We cut the opening segment to just news and what we've been watching which of course contains big things such as Falcon and Winter Soldier, Godzilla vs Kong, Mortal Kombat and Justice League Snyder Cut. Then to the main attraction, Wayne's World 1 and 2, so much funny shit to talk about with these.
Music
Wayne's World theme
Pop Evil - Breathe Again
Aerosmith - Dude Looks Like A Lady
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Next time (hopefully sooner) we talk some volcano movies that came out the same year: Dante's Peak and Volcano
-
We are back! Our first episode of 2021 comes in March this year, so what the hell kept us from recording for two months? Well it was all on Jake's end but rest assured the news is happy. Extremely unexpected but happy. Let's just say that because of this change in his life this episode had to be tight (after the epic Dark Knight episode, that's okay) and we may be a little less regular for a while. So after brief football talk and spoiler filled talk about WandaVision, it's time we talk about The Town That Dreaded Sundown, close to the anniversary where the real life events happened. First is the 1976 thriller which kinda contains some real goofy shit, and then the 2014 sequel/remake/requel whatever you want to call it.
Music
Limp Bizkit - Don't Go Off Wandering
A Trigger Within - Become the Ghost
Bloody Hammers - The Town That Dreaded Sundown
When we record next is up in the air, but we will try to be back to regular schedule afterwards. And when we do come back, it's Wayne's World 1&2
-
Yipee Kay Yay, Motherfuckers! Cryosphere is back! For the return, we decide since it is Christmas time, let's revisit a Christmas film, and that is Die Hard. Yes, it's a Christmas movie, hands down. Also we have most of the NFW crew, Newty, Suzanne and Gary. Which means things get really off the rails in this one. Let's just say you may never look at Skittles the same after this episode. Also some feedback from Darth Ballsac! Sync up and enjoy!
Music
Dean Martin - Let It Snow
Run DMC - Christmas in Hollis
-
Ho...ly...shit, everybody. This one was a marathon! Another milestone episode, which means it has to be special. Unfortunately we were only able to get one guest, Wildman Willis. The fact that this wasn't a packed house might be a good thing because man this went on so long that it was waaaay past our bedtimes by the time it was over! So the subject is the high profile trilogy from Christopher Nolan, the man who got the taste of Batman and Robin out of our mouths with his Dark Knight trilogy. Sean has the shortest rundown, mostly because technical difficulties in the middle, of Batman Begins. Scott on the other hand has finally had his Scrooged length rundown, with The Dark Knight with Heath Ledger as The Joker. And finally Jake tries to have a short rundown but not quite, as he is talking The Dark Knight Rises, so yes of course expect Tom Hardy Bane impressions, you knew it was coming.
Music:
Rage Against the Machine - Wake Up
Architects - Black Lungs
Kobra and the Lotus - Gotham
Steve Miller Band - The Joker
Next time, after this long one we decided to take it easy with going back to the Cryosphere and since it is Christmas time, we'll be going with Die Hard, because that is a Christmas movie dammit!
As usual with our milestone episodes, almost an hour of outtakes, including what went down during Sean's technical difficulties.
Thanks to our listeners (all two of them) for 200 episodes, here's to 200 more!
-
More Roger Moore and Bond, James Bond. But more importantly Sean makes his triumphant return after his year long break, so yeah expect episodes to be a bit longer again! First the girls tournament is coming down to the wire with maybe an upset, bunch of ongoing movie series that keep on going and Jake's read an unused script for one of the Halloween movies. Let's just say that we're glad it did not get used.
Music
Shirley Bassey - Moonraker
Sheena Easton - For Your Eyes Only
Black Veil Brides - Scarlet Cross
Next episode is the big 200, so obviously it has to be a special episode and that's what we are planning. This time it's gonna be Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy, so expect some voices to be lost by the end of the episode (maybe middle?) with all the impressions.
-
It's November time, so that must mean it's James Bond month! We continue with some Roger Moore flicks The Man With The Golden Gun and The Spy Who Loved Me, movies featuring Jaws, Tatoo from Fantasy Island and Christopher Lee with a third nipple! Also the girls tournament is heating up with an extremely hard choice for Jake, news of actors returning to wells that made them famous and a return of the fucked up sex acts and man is it gnarly!
Music:
Wage War - Surrounded
Carly Simon - Nobody Does It Better
Lulu - The Man With The Golden Gun
Next time around, more Moore with Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only
Outtakes: Disgusting feet talk after Jake talks about his toe injury
-
Happy Halloween, boils and ghouls! Yes we are actually doing an episode on the best holiday ever and what better subject than Tales From the Crypt, which we have not done for two years for some reason! We promise we will be more regular with this shit! Also a big tie in the girls tournament that has Jake sweating, return of Chuck Norris, an unfortunate death and Jake had a week off, so how much Halloween time watches did he make? Hint: a shit ton.
Music
Ice Nine Kills - Thriller
Crematory - Black Celebration
Paradise Lost - Gothic
Type O Negative - All Hallow's Eve
Next time, it's November so that means back to James Bond, with The Spy Who Loved Me and The Man With the Golden Gun. And happy Halloween, and don't forget the big giveaway at 9! Don't forget your masks! It's almost time! Silver Shamrock
Outtakes: Dogs will eat anything
-
In our second 2020 Halloween episode, we talk some mind bending slow burn thrillers. First Jake talks about the 1999 Kevin Bacon film Stir of Echoes and explains why the very end scares the shit out of him. Scott isn't too enthused about Session 9 with David Caruso but it does lead to some interesting discussions. Plus more ties in the girls tournament, a theory about Signs, and Jake's list of What He's Been Watching is expanding again (phrasing?)
Music
Rolling Stones - Paint It Black
AC/DC - Shot In the Dark
Van Halen - Runnin' With The Devil (RIP Eddie)
Next time for the final Halloween episode of the season, we return to a TV show that honestly we should have returned to much sooner. That's right, back to Tales From the Crypt.
-
Back to the very old days we go, back to Universal Monsters. First off, we turn to the monster and the doctor with The Bride of Frankenstein and then off to the Amazon to visit the Creature From the Black Lagoon. But of course a jam packed opening, with a tie in our tournament, the Bermuda Triangle, could football be in trouble, movies John Carpenter almost made and a kinda short What We've Been Watching even from Jake (remember when his used to be long the first half of the year? That was nice, for him at least).
Music
Wage War - Alive
Hail Sagan - Haterbait
Iced Earth - Frankenstein
Next time around we go a little further in time to the late 90s and early 2000s for a couple of spooky supernatural thrillers known as Stir of Echoes and Session 9.
-
Time for some more Carpenter! This time another pairing with him and Kurt Russell in his most famous role as Snake Plissken. Some fun to be had, maybe an unpopular opinion as well? Plus Jake messes up the order of things in the opening segment (blaming waking up a half hour before the show), and talks about a movie that might be considered the worst ever made, so of course he watched it, maybe more than once?
Music
The Browning - Skybreaker
White Zombie - The One
Sugar Ray - 10 Seconds Down
Next time, it's that time of year again! October begins, so does a fun month of talking horror. Starting with going back to Universal movies such like Bride of Frankenstein and Creature From the Black Lagoon.
-
This week we talk about the world's most famous stoners Cheech and Chong, a major upset in the girls tournament, is Google listening in on us and Scott says "It is what it is" a lot.
Music:
Cheech and Chong - Up In Smoke
Cheech and Chong - Earache My Eye
War - Lowrider
Korn - Earache My Eye
Jonathan Davis - What It Is
Next time around, it's back to John Carpenter with Escape From New York and LA
-
This episode we're doing a little double feature of horror anthologies by masters of horror George A Romero and Stephen King, with Creepshow 1 & 2. Of course there is a part 3 but we don't do that and we'll explain why. Also a crap ton of news ranging from sad to a little happy to making us mad, feedback from Ballsac and Jake's What I've Been Watching List has finally been shortened but he makes a shocking revelation.
Music:
Fit For a King - Annihilation
Trivium - Bleed Into Me
Like Moths To Flames - Habitual Decline
Next time (which may be a quick turnaround just to get back on schedule) we will be talking about stoner legends Cheech and Chong with Up in Smoke and Next Movie.
-
At the beginning of the year we talked about scary alien abductions. Well let's talk about aliens again but now we need laughs more than ever so they're funny aliens, one having the voice of Seth Rogen in fact. After some alien conspiracy theories, more laundry lists of what we've been watching, the subjects are Paul with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost and The Watch with Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill.
Music:
Eazy E - Boyz in the Hood
Upon a Burning Body - Living For the Weekend
Son of Dork - We're Not Alone
Corey Taylor - CMFT Must Be Stopped
Next time around, we've got a double feature of George A Romero and Stephen King anthologies. That's right, Creepshow 1 & 2 are the subjects.
-
Watch your backs, people. Chuck Norris is back! That's right, this episode we're talking Chuck taking on Russian terrorists in Invasion USA and then taking on Satanists in Hellbound. Let's just say quality may be a little different. Plus more girls of Unholy Mofos, a returning segment, more delays (surprise surprise) and Jake's list of what he's been watching is back to normal, with a bunch of 2020 releases and a couple of Netflix shows.
Music:
Fit For a King - God of Fire
Dimmu Borgir - Spellbound By the Devil
The Chuck Norris song
Next time around it's alien comedies with Paul and The Watch
-
What happens when there is only one man left on Earth? And what if he isn't? That's what we are talking about today with two adaptations of Richard Matheson's I Am Legend. First with the Charlton Heston starring Omega Man and the 2007 version with Will Smith. Of course there was another adaptation that came out before these called The Last Man On Earth with Vincent Price so we briefly talk about that, the book and Jake even watched a few more "adaptations" in his "shorter than usual" list of what he's been watching. Also bear with us in the opening segment as Jake had some sort of construction happening below him. Thankfully you can barely hear it in the final product but it's there.
Music
Eskimo Callboy - Hypa Hypa
Bring Me the Horizon - Parasite Eve
Slipknot - My Plague
Next time, the Chuck Norris jokes are back as we are back to talking some of his movies, with Invasion USA and Hellbound
-
This week we bring in a double feature of Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor, but not only that. We also have Darth Ballsac as a guest, to bring his wisdom (well more like crude jokes) to the show. It was good having a third member once again. Also we have movie conspiracies and some reviews Jake has looked up, reviews that will make you lose at least 50 IQ points.
Music
Gene Wilder - Crazy
American Head Charge - Just So You Know
Diamante - Ghost Myself
Killswitch Engage - Signal Fire
Next time around, it's the end of the world, at least in the movies we are doing, The Omega Man and I Am Legend.
-
Now we move on to retired people, Retired and Extremely Dangerous people (if you didn't know what the title meant). Yes we're talking Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren as retired spies in Red 1 & 2, lots of good fun to be had in these two movies. First more movies have been delayed (shocker), more girls, and more laundry lists of what has been watched. And more feedback from Ballsac and some from Sean as well. But since Sean loves to pipe on it's more of a segment we plug in towards the end where he gives his thoughts on Sleepwalkers.
Music
Aerosmith - Back in the Saddle Again
All That Remains - A Reason For Me To Fight
Devildriver - Keep Away From Me
Mushroomhead - The Heresy
Next time, it's Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor in See No Evil Hear No Evil and Stir Crazy.
