David takes on too much responsibility, stops sleeping, and succumbs to panic attacks. Claire turns to Ted and finds a reserve of inner strength. Ruth spends a lot of time ranting in a bathrobe, then settles into the role of caretaker. Brenda is sidelined by everyone. George steps up in an unexpected way, and Maggie is an absolute nightmare, as usual.
