There’s no crying in softball…but there’s yelling! Juliana and her teammates and their Amy G's are having a tough time with their coaches. When you have a punitive coaching style and lack positive reinforcement, the girls are going to lose interest. In schools we teach that punishment stops behavior, but it does nothing for building the skills you want to see kids develop. Same goes with coaching.
