Swingers tells the story of Ruth - a woman who joined a Swinging website and ended up having degrading sex with strangers more than 100 times. Ruth thinks she is not alone, that there are women all over the UK like her and so she decided to tell her story, using her full identity, to investigative journalist Catrin Nye.
Ruth says that she never wanted to join the swingers website - but did it to please her husband who had been slowly persuading her for more than a decade to try swinging. She ended up having sex with strangers in lay-bys and filming it for her husband. She ended up pregnant by a stranger and giving oral sex to another man while bleeding from an abortion. In this podcast Catrin pieces together Ruth’s story and asks what it tells us about sexual consent, pressure in relationships, and the swinger community. She digs deep into the online world of Fab Swingers - the website Ruth and her husband used. Catrin discovers countless crimes across the UK linked to the swinging website and speaks to a man who admits to having sex with women who he thinks were pushed into it. She considers the police response to Ruth, the law and whether swinging can be a cover for abuse. This is a story told in full honesty. It’s the trickiest investigation of Catrin’s career, but one she also feels must be told.

In July 2013, the discovery of the bodies of two young boys in the back of their father's car sparked a wave of horror in Ireland and overseas.
But in the Co Carlow town where the boys lived, the murders left residents questioning themselves, and the very fabric of their own community.
The first-ever Child Rescue Ireland alert issued for missing children was less than two hours old when Sanjeev Chada drove a car containing the bodies of his sons Eoghan and Ruairi into a wall in rural Co Mayo.
Hundreds of miles away, his wife Kathleen was still expecting the man she loved and the boys she adored to walk through the door at any minute.
Sanjeev Chada survived the impact of the crash to tell a tale which has never fully been told.
Now, 13 years later, his wife Kathleen is finally ready to talk about the sheer scale of the horror inflicted by a loving dad and community man on his eldest son.
Forever My Boys is the story of the lives of two boys who endured unimaginable deaths, of a tormented wife's conflicted love for her husband, and a mother's refusal to ever give up on her sons.
Warning: This podcast contains explicit references to suicide, extreme violence and violence against children.
Produced by the Irish Sun's Deep Dive team and narrated by Nicola Bardon, the Sound Editor/Designer was Lochlainn Harte.

Pirate Predator tells the story of Eamon Cooke, a man of many faces who, on one hand, became a cult like figure - filling a void for disillusioned youth through Radio Dublin in the 1970s and 1980s- while on the other became one of Ireland's most prolific child sexual abusers.
Narrated by Peter Mulryan, who encountered Cooke in the 1980s, Pirate Predator uncovers the chilling true story of 'Captain Cooke' and how he used the cover of pirate radio to groom and abuse, hiding a decades-long reign of terror in plain sight.
This series features scenes of child sex abuse. If affected by any issues raised, please visit rte.ie/helplines
