Από τα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1960, ένας φανατικός θεατρόφιλος, αρτοποιός στο επάγγελμα, οΒασίλης Κυριακίδης, ξεκίνησε να ηχογραφεί με ένα κασετόφωνο χειρός ορισμένες από τις παραστάσεις που παρακολουθούσε. Δημιούργησε έτσι ένα ανεπανάληπτο αρχείο, με περίπου 100 σημαντικές παραστάσεις μιας εικοσαετίας, σε μια εποχή που μόνο τα Κρατικά Θέατρα και κατ’ εξαίρεση ίσως κάποιοι ιδιωτικοί θίασοι κρατούσαν ηχητικό ή οπτικοακουστικό αρχείο. Στο podcast «Λίγο πριν πέσει η αυλαία», θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να αντλήσουμε από το αρχείο αυτό αποσπάσματα από τις τελευταίες παραστάσεις μεγάλων πρωταγωνιστών, που σημάδεψαν με την παρουσία τους τη θεατρική σκηνή του εικοστού αιώνα. Στα 6 πρώτα επεισόδια της σειράς θα κάνουμε ένα αφιέρωμα στον Δημήτρη Χορν, έναν από τους πιο χαρισματικούς και λαμπερούς πρωταγωνιστές του ελληνικού θεάτρου και κινηματογράφου. Θα ακούσουμε αποσπάσματα των 6 -από τις 7- τελευταίων θεατρικών παραστάσεων στις οποίες πρωταγωνίστησε: Σλουθ (1970), Ο Δικός μας (1976), Τίμων ο Αθηναίος, Ερρίκος ο Δ (1979), Χιτ (1979) και Ο αρχιμάστορας Σόλνες (1983). -

Stranded in the Sierra Nevada during the harsh winter of 1846–1847, the emigrants faced unimaginable choices, with some resorting to cannibalism.
