As a runner: You know, we all have dreams and a powerful human spirit. As Wilma Rudolph once said, "Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We all have the potential for greatness." Born in Tennessee in 1940, Wilma overcame polio and became the first American woman to win three gold medals in track and field at a single Olympic Games. What a legend! Proverbs 14:The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

Running fast is fun, but pushing yourself too hard too soon can make running feel like a chore. Everyone's pace improves over time, but trying to speed up too quickly can backfire. Focus on running at a pace that feels good for your body, and gradually increase your speed with consistent, well-planned training. If running is still tough, you might need to build more strength and endurance.Adding a strength and conditioning session or some cross-training each week can help.

"Working out when sore is okay as long as it isn't affecting your movement to the point where it's causing you to compensate and do something in a way that's unsafe," says Experts. While easy, relaxing runs are enjoyable, without hard workouts, the love for running might not be as strong. Running at any effort is a gift, but there's something fulfilling about those runs that push lungs and legs to their limits. The joy in running comes from the challenging workouts and races that produce discomfort.

Finding your purposeis like discovering your reason to run. Once you set your goal, everythingbecomes a tool to move toward it. Just as a runner uses every training session, every piece of advice, and every race as a stepping stone towards their ultimategoal, so too can you use every chance meeting and every seemingly irrelevantpiece of data as a part of the bigger picture that moves you closer to yourpurpose.

Crossing the line, knowing you did your best.
In other words, have you ever finished a race knowing you couldn’t possibly have gone any faster? Be honest. Ever crossed the finish line and nearly collapsed because you gave it all. Ever crossed the line not in a show off way, in a sincere honest state of exhaustion?
And if not, why not more often? Crossing the line and finish the race in your planned time, yes of course thats good and well… but knowing you could have done more.
It’s not a nice feeling…. The memory of the achieved result that is a nice feeling. But whilst you are in there. Whilst you are running your heart out and maybe even being passed by other… that moment in time nope its not that special… But he satisfaction of that memory, that moment where you know, that was it tank empty.Luke 1:37 - For nothing will be impossible with God.

“Resiliency is the ability to face setbacks, failures, crises, and pain (both emotional and physical) with confidence and courage. It is the ability to quickly bounce back from our trials and tragedies. It’s the quality that keeps us from giving up, even when the going gets rough. It’s the ability to stick with something through thick and thin and the power to overcome the temptation to bail out when things stop being easy.” (from “Building Your Resiliency”).
