We brought back our friend Morgan Johnson to talk about Panic at the Disco. Or is it Panic! At the Disco? How exciting is the panic, and how exciting is the disco? This and is very interesting to us given how much they strive to change their sound from album to album.

We finally all agree that something is good in this world, and it's a glorious moment! Aurora is a not-so-well-known Norwegian singer that inspired all three of the hosts to actually smile while we spoke this week. Her singing is beautiful, and her album is definitely worth checking out.

What do you do when someone asks you to do a band? Well, if you're us, you listen to them for two weeks on repeat and allow anger to work its way into your soul. An anger hot like fire. Like the kind of fire that envelopes an entire house with a doggy in it. The kind of doggy in a fire that Steve Harwell needs to come and save you from. Anyway, we don't like Smash Mouth.

So this week we took a break from actually listening to music to just talk about it instead. Kind of. After the onslaught of music that was Metallica, Marshall, Rachel, and Tom chose to just have a nice little chat for a while. Things get silly, but don't they always?

We talk about Metallica - All 10 albums. Some of us went in skeptical... but we left sure of our opinions. This episode was the first time that the host's ability to power through 12 hours of a single artist over and over again was tested. It left us stronger, it left us wiser. It left us sure as hell that we don't need to listen to Metallica again for at least a month. But what did we all think of the band? Give a listen and find out!

We get a little off topic this week as we *try* to talk about Box Car Racer, the brief side project of Blink-182. Although having only one album, Box Car Racer still held a spot in the lives of the hosts enough to give it an episode.

On this episode of BANDS: The Podcast we talk about the ever changing, ever inconsistent Bloodhound Gang. This is a band with roots local to most of the hosts, and that's especially apparent when we discuss a certain chain of convenience stores called Wawa, which have a very prominent line in one of their songs. We make jokes, we say some bad words, and we laugh.

In our second episode, Marshall and Rachel are joined by their friend Morgan to talk about the Silversun Pickups album "Neck of the Woods" from 2012. This album got very mixed reviews, and even the hosts have mixed opinions about it. Find out what we think and let us know your thoughts!

Welcome to BANDS: The Podcast! Today for our very first episode we discuss Hanson, that band of boys from Tulsa who took the world by storm in the late nineties. Did the boys grow in the years since Middle of Nowhere came out in 1997? Marshall, Rachel and Tom let you know what they think.
Hear about Marshall and Rachel's concert experience seeing them and listen to them argue about Rachel's age. It's a lot more fun than that last sentence sounds!
