Hello, I am a marital therapist, communications trainer and author. I have thirty-five years helping couples and individuals make better relationships. I have written twenty-plus self-help books which include the international best-sellers ‘I love you but I’m not in love with you’ and ‘How can I ever trust you again?’ My books have been translated into twenty languages. I trained with RELATE the UK’s largest counselling charity.
Perhaps it has been turning sixty but I have become interested in spiritual as well as psychological questions. Who am I? What are my values – as opposed to my parents, my teachers and the wider society? What makes my life meaningful? What do I believe about life, the universe and everything? Although my clients might come to me because of destructive arguments, falling out of love and infidelity, they are also interested in having more meaningful relationships and a more meaningful life.
So what is the meaningful life? Why do we so easily lose our way and get lost in depression, anxiety, doubt, addictions and obsessions: the swamplands of the soul? One thing I know for sure is that there is not one answer. Each of us has to find out for ourselves what makes our life meaningful. But we can learn from each other, share our experiences of how to navigate the journey, how to endure and learn from the swamp, and finally how to find solid ground.
I have decided to use my original training in radio and journalism to interview witnesses for what makes life meaningful. Each week, I invite someone who is a therapist, academic, self-help coach or who has an enlightening personal story to share their knowledge or experiences. I hope our discussions will help you discover what makes your life meaningful and find more purpose and contentment. -
Despite some acceptance, mental health, and all that is related to it, still carries a stigma. F*ck that perception! Each week, join The Misfit Therapist- mom, daughter, best friend, psychotherapist, and the one who “never really fit in” as she challenges you to listen and think about Depression, Anxiety, and a bunch of other stuff in a way that leads to restoration. Maybe you’re bored. Maybe you’re here because you want some insight on how to finally “fix it,” whatever “it” is. Come along, as we heal the world, one person, one family, one community at a time.

Find Peace and Freedom after Narcissistic Abuse
Are you feeling lost after breaking free from a toxic relationship? Are you afraid you will get sucked back in, whether it is with the same narcissist or a new one? Are you ready to finally live in peace?
In this podcast, you will find healing methods and coping solutions to set you free from narcissistic abuse and its effects. My mission is to equip you to become strong and free through confidence building, proven healing methods and finding peace. If you’re ready to say yes to thriving after abuse and stop chasing everything that hasn’t worked for a plan that will- you’re in the right place!
Hey, I’m Christy. A mom, wife and a ruthless narcissist avoider! For years of my life, I went to therapists that didn’t understand narcissism, read generic abuse recovery books and tried things that didn’t help me truly disconnect and break the cycle of narcissistic abuse. I wasted money on tools that didn’t give me lasting results. I finally realized that if I was going to truly disconnect and heal, I had to understand narcissists’ minds and the effects on their victims. After years of education and endless conversations with victims of narcissistic abuse, I created a perfect plan to not just disconnect fully from the current narcissists in my life, but to avoid getting sucked in by future ones, while creating healthy boundaries and healing from the effects of abuse. A life of thriving, not just surviving. And I am ready to share it all with you!
If you are a professional woman ready to finally find a clear cut plan to stop the cycle and heal from narcissistic abuse -effective solutions that have results that are undeniable: like a peaceful night’s sleep, decreased overwhelm, and unshakable confidence, then this podcast is for you!

You have read the books, set boundaries, cried for change, and had no choice but to preserve your peace and the peace of your children by going no contact with your toxic family. It is a brave decision to realize your worth and stop emotional abuse, even though they are family. This podcast is for anyone who has felt like a villain but refuses to return to more shit because you know, ‘It’s your family!!’ -

Welcome to the Crowned with Confidence Podcast!
Hello Queen, Hola Reina!
Are you a stay-at-home mom seeking to feel confident in yourself and in your motherhood? Maybe you run a business from home or homeschool your kids and find yourself overwhelmed all the time. Do you struggle to find time for yourself and feel like God is just wanting you to slow down a little bit or make some changes in your life? Have you found yourself so stressed out and know you need to prioritize your fitness, mental & spiritual health? Do you want to enjoy your precious time with your children at home and still make time to pour into your own cup? Do you want to be able to make time for your fitness but not let it take up so much time from your family and life?
If any one of these sounds like what you may be struggling with then you have come across the perfect podcast!
Hello queen, my name is Monica Rojas, and I am a Jesus lover, wife, stay-at-home mom who homeschools our 2 precious children, and the Founder of Boxfit Queens. Back in 2020, before the pandemic, I made the decision to leave my career to stay home after giving birth to our daughter. What was supposed to be the most beautiful time in my life turned out to be the most difficult one. I struggled so much to find peace and joy with my new role as a stay-at-home mom for a few reasons. One being postpartum depression, two I was trying to find my purpose in being home because I had the mindset that if I wasn’t working, I was not contributing, and lastly, I was too busy comparing myself to other moms and their lives. All this equaled to feeling the opposite of confident.
Fast forward to almost 4 years as a stay-at-home mom, I can say that I wish I had the knowledge I have today to tell myself that God has a beautiful plan and purpose for both you and me as mothers and that purpose is not based on the money we bring in but in the heart work that we do to love and serve our families. The work you do as a mom in your home is so important and should not be minimized, however, I do understand that when we do not feel good about ourselves, we cannot see the beauty in the things in front of us at times.
My mission as a Boxing fitness trainer specifically for moms is to create a routine and workout for you to do to pour into your own cup and take care of yourself first. So many times we get so busy doing everything for everyone else that we forget we need to build a strong foundation for our motherhood by partnering with God and taking care of our bodies as well as renewing the way we think.
This podcast is dedicated to partnering faith, boxing fitness and personal development to help you become the best version of yourself while you do the important work God has called you to do. Together we are stronger ! So straighten your crown and let’s build our confidence Reina’s !

ADHD is as highly genetic as height and / or eye color.
ADHD usually is present from childhood through adulthood...a lifetime.
ADHD usually comes with commorbities (a.k.a. "friends") such as learning disabilities, anxiety, and depression to name a few. And if the "friends" are addressed / assessed / treated before the ADHD is, it actually sets up an incomplete and ineffective treatment and support plan for a person who is actually struggling at their core with ADHD.
Females are the most under- and mis-diagnosed for ADHD and repeatedly dismissed because of it, not to mention categorically assessed "inattentive" males.
ADHDers chase dopamine because we have a low amount in our systems, so we look to increase it in a variety of healthy and unhealthy ways. It's arguable multi-billion dollar industries exist because of this.
ADHD is "the best medical diagnosis" a person can get because it's treatable, can be managed with proper support, and can improve one's life tenfold (per Dr. Ned Hallowell, one of the world's leading ADHD experts).
So, why are we pretending that ADHD is only a childhood issue that effects hyperactive "disruptive" little boys? Why are we pretending that it's definitely NOT the assessment we need because we don't want "that"? Why are we pretending that ADHD doesn't rule the world?
Because...it certainly looks like, in fact, ADHD Rules The World.
World peace, here we come?
Let the healing begin.
