About Katie Schrader:
Katie Schrader, retired from her career as a corporate bookkeeper to embrace a path of caregiving and holistic health. Since 2005, she has been a caregiver for aging parents and during that time became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and herbalist. Herpassion for natural remedies is deeply personal, fueling her extensive research into the effects of food and herbs on various chronic conditions, including Alzheimer’s and diabetes.
Katie's creative side flourished remarkably after the devastations of Hurricane Michael and the global introspection brought on by the pandemic. As an author, she pens fiction, children's tales, and self-help books, each infused with empathy and insight from her lifeexperiences.
Married for 36 years and a resident of a small but bustling farm in rural Georgia, Katie shares her life with her husband and a menagerie of rescue animals, including dogs, donkeys, peacocks, cats, and more. This setting provides not just a backdrop for her writing, but also a laboratory for her health philosophies, which advocate for natural healing overconventional medicine. Despite her intellectual pursuits, Katie maintains a heartfelt connection with her animals, often saying, "I talk to them, and they talk back," highlighting her unique, empathetic approach to life.
