The coterie used what little time they had left to put the final pieces in place for the prince’s arrival. Everett called the prince, convinced him that Doris had turned into a wight and was subsequently put down, and chose which songs he would sing from his float, Val received a slightly ominous message from the sheriff saying they would discuss how to deal with the beast later, and Evangeline sent Percy out of harm’s way. But will any of them survive the explosion to see their plan enacted?

The coterie made their final plans in the apartment being prepared for the prince’s address and subsequent execution. Val and Everett decided they would douse the rest of the building in silver nitrate and store hidden weapons in the apartment to take care of the prince and his bodyguards, Evangeline insisted on talking through various contingencies, and Veron Ferron made arrangements to decorate the room to conceal everything without arousing the prince’s suspicion.

The coterie found themselves facing the logistical challenges of deposing a prince. Matthew Theobald took over relocating the families of the daytime officers, Val took Evangeline’s suggestion of using the hospital holding cells to protect Will, and Everett and Evangeline accepted the expertise of Veron Ferron to arrange safe spaces from the silver nitrate. Nosferatu tech expert, Unity Castille, arrived on the scene, but even with many capable minds working together, will they pull off their grand deception?

As the clan meeting continued, Everett revealed that Matthew Theobald would become the new prince and that mortals would have representatives in the new system, and in the end the plan received unanimous support. The clans offered their various expertise in enacting the assassination and Evangeline called an end to the meeting. Madre stayed behind to question Val about the Brian Tombstone incident and secured 10 new Brujah in compensation. But now it’s time to update the future prince.

The coterie scrambled to reassert their control over the meeting after Val punched Brian Tombstone into Michael Arden, who then retaliated by boiling the Brujah’s blood. After Everett convinced Madre to delay punishing Arden, Evangeline reminded the clan leaders of the danger that the unstable prince posed to them all, and Everett presented their plan to forcibly replace Toasta Rosa with a democratic system. Some clan leaders have been convinced, but can the others stop their infighting long enough to see reason?

Before the coterie met with the clan leaders, Evangeline devised a strategy for the meeting, and Val and Michael Arden had a heated discussion about clan politics. Everett received a call from the prince, who informed him that he would be celebrated with a parade the following day, and Everett suggested a logistical change to make it easier to assassinate the prince amidst the festivities. At the station, Everett and Evangeline discussed the upcoming clan leader meeting. Evangeline realized the Tremere were leaderless and if Michael Arden were to step into that role, they could use his vote, so they took him to the arcade and vaguely threatened the remaining Tremere into electing him. Meanwhile, Val picked up groceries for Will and reflected guiltily on Margery’s death, thereby regaining some of her humanity. But can the coterie convince the clan leaders to help them murder a prince?

When Doris had a vision of precisely how to take out the Right Hand of Lilith, the coterie jumped into action. Reproducing Doris’s vision, Everett slammed into the Right Hand with his car, Val pummeled him, Evangeline shot him, and Doris decided to end it all by diablerizing him. With her new powers, Doris saw that she must leave New Haven to keep the wider Pyramid away, and after tearful farewells, set out with Margery’s head for company. The coterie encountered Dylan Zane, who refused to give up anything incriminating, but when he was uncooperative, Doris entered his mind and gained all of his access codes. After quickly perusing his computers, Evangeline confirmed Teddy’s direction on the CCTV and Val uncovered the Pyramid 2.0’s plan to eliminate its investors, including the Prince. Everett offered this intel to the Prince as a big win, but Toasta Rosa was skeptical and still livid with the sheriff.

Everett and Doris interrogated Pyramid 2.0 sales rep Paul Wilson, who quickly divulged that the new Pyramid headquarters was at the arcade, Chuckless Cheese. Evangeline accompanied them to look for further evidence of Teddy’s whereabouts, Val convinced Madre to help them deal with the remaining Tremere, and when they all rushed into the arcade, the Brujah made quick work of intimidating everyone and securing the first two floors. But will Dylan Zane surrender so easily?

Val was bitten by mosquitoes into torpor, Evangeline inadvertently turned the swarm on herself, and Everett cleverly used pepper spray and the sprinkler system to finish them off. Meanwhile, in the sky, Doris used her final well of blood within her to frenzy and dealt the killing blow to Lucius Balefire. Facing Lucius Balefire with a hostage and a swarm of mosquitos, the coterie had to act quickly. Everett wanted to talk, but Val immediately flung Pentecost’s body at Margery to get her clear, and Margery did not survive. Doris successfully stabbed Lucius with the Shaft, but he grabbed her and took off with her upward into the sky. On the ground, Evangeline tried to reason with the swarm but instead they turned on Val, who quickly fell into torpor. How much more destruction will Lucius wreak before he finally expires?

With the Shaft of Belated Dissolution complete, it was only a matter of time before Lucius Balefire would arrive. Everett relented and let Doris hold the shaft to take the first strike, Evangeline encountered a vengeful mosquito, and the coterie soon found themselves in a firefight and pinned inside the building, with Val carrying an unconscious Pentecost. Inevitably, they came face to face with Balefire, a figure composed of thousands of mosquitos, and a familiar hostage. Will Doris give in to Lucius to save Margery?

Evangeline left Troy to find security footage of Teddy at the hospital before joining the rest of her coterie, Everett and Val made sure Red Cell were in position outside the ritual site before they went inside to guard the room where the magic was taking place, and Doris successfully created the shaft of belated dissolution, ensuring Lucius Balefire is on the way. But will this trap kill the Pyramid 2.0’s oldest vampire, or will the shaft be turned against its makers?

Everett negotiated with Red Cell to provide protection during Doris’s ritual and requested Joslyn St. James for extra security, Val was agitated by the revelation that Teddy sought to sire himself with Sheriff Cross’s blood, and at the hospital, Evangeline left a letter for Dylan Zane and put Troy on obtaining CCTV footage of Teddy’s departure. Can Doris complete the shaft or will it all be for naught?

Evangeline began priming the Clan leaders for the impending coup against the Prince, Val received a gift of silver bullets from Matthew Theobald, Everett secured a building in the Gangrel quarter for Doris to work, and she set out to create the Shaft of Belated Dissolution undisturbed. With the Prince convinced to receive the weapon in person, Theobald planted a GPS tracker on the handle. Now that Teddy has stolen the late Sherriff Cross’s blood, will he return as Val’s blood-sibling?
