This week Ade and Tim discuss the talks they attended whilst at The Bushcraft Show 2024. How these talks have inspired them to pick up their books and refresh their old skills, and learn a few new ones. Essentially, the talks taught them that being 'outdoorsy' is a good thing; both out in the field and even in the office.
They go on to discuss this coming weekends camping adventure.
Thank you to everyone for taking the time to listen. We really appreciate every one of you. Please share with your family and friends so we can keep growing our base.

This week Ade and Tim discuss what you sleep on when out in the field. They also talk through their different choices throughout their camping life that has lead to the system they prefer to use when camping today; in the hope this helps you avoid some of the discomfort that have had.
A new audio suite was used in the recording of this episode which sadly did not have the desired benefit and some listeners may find the quality of audio lower than what is usually put out. We apologise for this and can assure you we will be switching back from next week.

Earlier in Season 2, Ade and Tim discussed the rising cost of camping from the perspective of campers. Following the release of this episode a campsite owner reached out to the show to ask that we put the other side of the story across; that of the site owners.
So this week, with a very personal insight from an anonymous campsite owner, Ade and Tim discuss exactly why casual campers are seeing rising costs on their favourite sites, and exactly why we should never consider it 'just a bit of grass'.

This week Ade and Tim talk about camping on hard standing pitches so that even when the weather is against you, you can still get out in the field. Ade talks about his hard standing camp last weekend. We give you some tips on staying comfortable, and how to keep your equipment free from damage when camping on stones.

How your setup will be dictated by the length of your camping trip. Not just the amount of gear you might want to consider, but the quality and performance of each piece of equipment might come into question when you're thinking of roughing it for one night or making things super comfortable for seven nights.
