Hello and welcome to Club Prairie Fire, Season 9 episode 7. We are BFF’s of tequila, tabasco and the Duckworth Lewis Stern System. This episode we are calling, “Good to be winners”
That’s right folks, on this humble little podcast populated by 2 Englishmen, Vaughany and Ollie, and 2 Aussies, Gilly and The Professor, we support two teams, the Green and Gold Goliaths that are Australia and the Three Roaring Lions of Mighty England and this week, for both sides, they did it in a canter. Thats right, we've got all the news and views from a ten Wicket Victory for the Aussies and a 323 Run Drubbing for the Poms.
We dive head first into the Adelaide test where it was absolute madness, wickets were falling first ball, bowlers were sending batsmen who scored run a ball centuries and beer snakes were stealing the show. Also, we take a good look over at the Basin Reserve where a pair of Yorkshiremen went at over 5 runs an over to ensure the english lads could hit the links on both days 4 and 5.
As always, nothing too serious and plenty of cricket banter, this is Club Prairie Fire.

Sri lanka. What a miraculous victory. England, after being in the box seat at 265 for 3 in their first innings, and not to mention having Sri Lanka 5 for 96…couldn't get it done at the Oval. For only the 4th time against the Lankys on home soil they went down by a whopping 8 Wickets. Another week and more Club Prairie Fire fun, your home of Tequila, Tabasco and The Duckworth Lewis Stern System.
This week, Gilly, Vaughany, Prof and Ollie analyse the three Lions who were led for the first time by Ollie Pope. The England side were given and almighty scare from those Super Sri Lankans who came very close to an upset over the Bazballions, but couldn’t get it done.
You know who did though…for the very first time Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in a test match and the lads have got you covered for all the ins and outs that went on. 14 times these two sides have gone into Battle and Bangladesh didn't just sneak home, they beat them by a massive 10 wickets.
