On August 7th, 2024. Jack Russell passed peacefully in the presence of his wife Heather Ann Russell, son Matthew Hucko, cousin Naomi Breshears Barbor, and dear friends Billy and Cheryl Pawelcik. Russell is survived by his wife, Heather Ann Kramer. The two married in 2011. A public memorial is set to be announced at a later date.

Cobras & Fire was invited to record a podcast at the Minneapolis Bar the CC Club. The CC Club is steeped in Minnesota music history. Not only was it a regular haunt for Bakko in the early Jesus Chrysler days. But Paul Westerberg wrote the Replacements song "Here Come's A Regular" about his experiences at this bar. Bakko also interviewed former bandmates of Bob Stinson's post Replacements band in the same booth he recorded this EP with friend of the show Andy Schaal.

Faster Pussycat is an American band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985[1] by vocalist Taime Downe, guitarists Greg Steele and Brent Muscat and bassist Kelly Nickels. The group has since gone through numerous lineup changes leaving Downe as the only constant member. They broke up in 1993, but reformed in 2001. Faster Pussycat has released four studio albums to date: Faster Pussycat (1987), Wake Me When It's Over (1989), Whipped! (1992) and The Power and the Glory Hole (2006).
