Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and told yourself that you were only pretty because of the make up on your face? Then this episode is probably for you. I’m Marilyn Madlion and I battled with a lot of insecurities in regards to how I looked and how my body looked and through a journey that I went on with God I was able to realize that it wasn’t the things I was adding to myself that made me beautiful. I was already beautiful before the addition. One of my favorite quotes by Emily Dickinson says, “beauty isn’t created. It is .” Because you were already beautiful even before you did anything and I hope this episode shows you just that.

Convos with Marilyn is an embodiment of various contradicting opinions on numerous topics, from multiple, but unique individuals and this episode thoroughly captures that. I sit with a guest never afraid to speak his mind regardless of the sensitivity of the topic, or the gravity of the foundation under it. In episode 10, Jermaine and I speak about his opinions on sexual energy, relationship dynamics and the vicious cycle that affects your mental health and if you know Jermaine, you know he made sure to air each topic out.
