Join us for Episode 4 as Chris-El, DcentXP, OmnibusGod, and Yuhoo dive into the world of Batman: The Black Mirror!
Scott Snyder is a legendary comic book writer at this point. His works like American Vampire, Dark Knights Metal, Justice League, New 52 Swamp Thing, and more have stood the test of time, but perhaps what Snyder is most renowned for is his contributions to the character of Batman.
Snyder has written Batman: Gates of Gotham, Batman: New 52 (Zero Year, Death of the Family, Superheavy, Court of the Owls, and more), and Absolute Batman. However, Synder's first contribution to Batman was maybe even his best, and that is Batman: The Black Mirror, with art by Jock and Francesco Francavilla. In the pages of Detective Comics issues 871 to 881, Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing, aka the first Robin, takes over the mantle of Batman, and crazy action ensues!
Join us for this episode as we take a look at this Batman masterpiece!

Join us for this bonus episode of Crash Out Comics! We have a general, casual conversation about the things we've been reading lately, but that quickly evolves into a deep and heated conversation about the new Ultimate Universe vs the New Absolute DC Universe and which one is better. We also discuss things like Batman fatigue, Batman vs Superman, and the problem with Marvel events (Secret Wars 1984 and Marvel Heroes Reborn). Furthermore, we also discuss the Flash, aka Wally West or Barry Allen. I don't know, but I do know that the Flash is far from an underrated character, despite Brendan's claims that he is one. And we also discuss things like our favorite controversial comic writers like Chuck Dixon, Mark Millar, Michael Baron, and more. So join us for this laid back bonus episode as we discuss all things DC, Marvel, and Image comics! #dccomics #marvelcomics #supermancomics #batmacomics #secretwars #theflash #podcast #comicpodcast #comics #omnibus #omnibusreprints
