On February 13, 2017, best friends Libby German and Abby Williams set out for a popular hiking trail outside their small hometown of Delphi, Indiana. It’s a quiet, safe place where everyone knows each other. But the girls never return from the trail. The next day, they’re found in the woods, murdered.
This marks the beginning of a long and complex investigation. For a long time, the police's best clues are a pixelated image of the suspect, and a voice recording of the killer. Both the image and the recording were captured by Libby German herself, in her last moments alive.
