In this episode, we tackle the tricky balance between human creativity and AI in innovation work. We see AI as a helper, not a replacement. AI can speed up tasks and refine ideas but can't match the human ability to make subtle connections that drive innovation. We caution against hyping up AI and warn about the 'deskilling effect' - losing our skills due to too much reliance on AI. But, by using AI carefully and learning from it, we can enhance our abilities, express ideas better, and create effective solutions to our problems. We also discuss the need to share our AI experiences and learn from each other. Remember, AI is a tool, not a craftsman. Tune in to hear more!

In this episode, we're joined by Dan Silveira, who has developed a unique ethical framework for AI/ML. We focus on the six guiding lenses: Bias & Fairness, Diversity & Inclusivity, Privacy & Security, Ethical & Safe Use, Reliability & Trustworthiness, and Openness & Transparency. We discuss tools, inspired by design thinking, that fit into agile project management processes. These are especially useful in the four areas most vulnerable to bias - Discovery, Data, Experimentation, and Monitoring.

In this episode, David and Jacob go dark on Deep Fakes. Deepfakes, or manipulated media that convincingly impersonate real people, have rapidly emerged as a potential threat to trust. They leverage advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to create realistic-looking images, videos, or audio, making it increasingly difficult to discern between genuine and fabricated content. As deepfakes become more prevalent, the risk of misinformation, identity theft, and manipulation of public opinion grows, leaving society to grapple with the consequences.
