What the hell? Wasn't your deficit phase meant to be the hardest? Then why does maintenance feel like such a b*tch? Well, my friend it's because out of all 3 physique phases, maintenance IS the hardest phase. You are not making things up.

I saw a post on instagram that we just have to talk about.
A gal said she was struggling with the tension between acheiving her running goals and her physique goals.
She felt like it was taboo to have aesthetic physique goals, but that she does and when she's performing at her best, she's uncomfortable in her skin.
She also said she didn't have any answers but just wanted to get the conversation going. Welp, I took that suggestion and used this episode to run with it (pun intended, i'm sorry) 🤣

You’re in the gym, following a program, hitting your protein intake, taking creatine but you’re not sure if you're training hard enough! You feel like you’re missing something but you don’t know what it is!
You want to get stronger, you want to build more muscle, you want to be one of the gals in the gym that looks like she gets it, you want to train hard.
All of these things really appeal to you but you just feel stuck like, 'cool I know I need to train hard but how and how do I know if im doing it, how do I know the line between this is just my genetic potential vs I’m actually missing something here?"
