Welcome to our Spotlight Series! We're taking turns diving deep with each other, unveiling your Four Fab Fatties. We're mentioning it all - what made us, what changed us, and what brought us here today. Starting us off is our girl who is no stranger to the spotlight, Ally! And, sure, she shines it on herself quite often, but that's kinda what we love about her. She's not afraid to be her authentic self, and she inspires us to do the same. Join us this week as she makes us laugh and we make her cry... sorry, Ally! What questions do you have for our resident drama queen? 🎭👸🏻 — XO Ally, Alyssa, Miria, + Rebecca 💖

48:29 I’d like to take a moment to address a careless comment I made while describing my Bat Mitzvah hairdo. Regardless of the intent of my words, I caused harm by making light of culturally specific hairstyles, and my fellow cohosts laughed along with me. I am so deeply sorry for the ignorance I displayed and the casual response we all took part in. A listener of ours took the time that she did not owe us in the slightest to educate us on the impact of this moment, and we will be forever grateful for the grace she extended in hopes that we will do better in the future. And that is a promise I and we will make here and now. We won’t always get it right, but we will always learn from our mistakes and strive to do and be better. Thank you again to this listener for reaching out, and we hope you’ll return to our table as we continue to have these hard conversations. — Ally + The 4FF -
Join us as we delve into the tumultuous journey from diets to despair in this raw and revealing episode. As four fat women who have certainly put our bodies and minds through the ringer in the pursuit of thinness, we’re sharing our intimate experiences with eating disorders and disordered eating, shedding light on a topic often shrouded in secrecy and stigma. It should come as no surprise that this is a very heavy episode with some very real emotions, and we want to make sure that you, our amazing viewers and listeners, are prepared for this conversation. Grab some tissues, grab a snack because you are worthy of nourishing your body, grab your emotional support bevy of choice, and come sit with us. There’s always room at our table. — XO Alyssa, Miria, Rebecca + Ally 💖

After a post gone viral in support of our most vulnerable troops, the Girl Scouts might just be experiencing their first season selling cookies “guilt free.” In this now massively circulated graphic, we’re shown an example list of things we shouldn’t say to children regarding personal food choices. Can you imagine a world where adults were more careful about the words they used around you? Can you imagine the money you could’ve saved in therapy bills? Tune in for this, and help us settle the Great Debate.

Sold out in stores. Sold out online. Have any of your favorite social media personalities sold out to the latest weight loss “miracle?” Now, don’t get us wrong. This is an extremely complicated topic, and we’ve got extremely complicated feelings. One of us is medically prescribed the “Shot-That-Must-Not-Be-Named,” and one of us has had weight loss surgery, and all of us have tried more than one way to shrink ourselves in a world obsessed with “fitting in.” Does that make us experts? No. Does that make us four human beings with very real and very valid feelings? It sure does. Let’s get into it! “Is it my style, or is it just my size?” This is the question we’re digging into this week as we discuss plus size fashion and our experiences with it or the lack thereof. We’re covering it all from shopping trips we missed out on and special occasion dresses we had to settle for to brands we currently love and how amazing it is to finally be able to swap clothes with our friends. You don’t want to miss the *subtle* shade and the loud laughs we’ve got in store for you this week, so come hang out with us! — XO Miria, Alyssa, Rebecca + Ally 💖

As lifelong fat gals, we’ve seen and heard it all. Trust us, no one is better prepared with self-deprecating humor than a girl who has, quite literally, been the butt of hundreds of cruel jokes from an unfairly young age. Finding community to relate our lived experiences with has truly been pivotal for each of us, and we’d like to give you a glimpse into some of those core memories. Join us as we discuss how our curves have impacted our lives from elementary school to the here and now, for better or worse. Sometimes, they’re a blessing and sometimes a curse.

Raise your hand if you've been personally victimized by New Year's resolutions.
Hi, we're here to put an end to all things "New Year, New You." Join us, your fav Four Fab Fatties, as we discuss our thoughts on why reinventing yourself as the clock strikes twelve each year is just simply not the vibe anymore. If you also get the ick from being told that last year's version of you wasn't good enough, then stick around for our perspectives on this hot topic and a whole lot of laughs along the way.
