Develop the dogs like a kid but don't TREAT them like a kid

In this episode, we explore the value of continuous learning and the importance of embracing new perspectives in dog training. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, there's always room to grow by stepping outside your comfort zone. I'm joined by Randall Lykens of Liberty Canine, Justin Rigney of K9 Services Unlimited, Tim Andrews, and Chris Armanini of Full Send K9 for an insightful discussion on how trainers in the gun dog community—and beyond—can benefit from incorporating fresh approaches into their training routines.
Watch Here!

Impulse control and the value of the dog taking a lesser reward while in drive
You may THINK you want the dog with the highest drive....
Charged markers and owning the dog's stomach via food

Preparing for pressure and theres not a one way fix for everything

What is actually in it for the dog to retrieve?
Teaching the out and how Force Fetch can actually be used to fix barking and leaking
You are your own architect to your training process. Make some art!
The dogs are constantly analyzing us
The hardest aspect of training is the human
Dogs are master manipulators and ALWAYS studying you!
