When we look at training we need to understand that it is far beyond then just burning calories. We are looking for our to adapt to certain things that we are subjecting them too. We also need to understand cutting words down like cardiovascular is causing us to give them a false meaning.

In this episode Gemma decides to join me again and we answer the questions of why her sleep has got better since increasing her food intake.
This is something I see with a lot of my client that when coming out the back end of lower calories there sleep might drop for certain reasons. However, when we add calories in especially carbohydrates we see sleep improve.

In this episode I cover something that a lot of people deal with when they start their journey.
Normally when starting your journey people will focus on cardiovascular work and this is very important but we need to be providing the muscles with a stimulus as it will not get an adequate stress from cardiovascular work which is more energy based. Focusing on weight training is very important to ensure we have the body shape we desire at the end of the journey and also to ensure we maintain a higher metabolic rate at the end of it.

In this episode we go through how covering distance isn't always a great indicator as to whether you are actually performing the exercise correctly. Instead we need to be focusing on whether that muscle is actually still creating and maintaining tension within that range and if not why are we going there.

In this episode I go through why overlooking the training process is the worse thing you can do.
Look around at all the information that is coming out on tv channels or media sites, it is nutritional based. This is brilliant and is a major part of the process, however nothing comes out about training and the benefits and the importance of that anymore.
