About Melanie St. Clair
Melanie St. Clair is a mindset coach who believes our greatest gift and responsibility is to heal ourselves. Her mission is to help you heal so that your inner child doesn't run your business and your most powerful CEO self does. She's helped her clients hit their biggest income months without letting people pleasing, perfectionism, and an overly complicated relationship with money stop them. When she's not helping her rockstar clients, you can find her traveling the world (or to the grocery store) with her husband Jeramia, sipping matcha lattes, or hopelessly trying to get her cats to take selfies with her.

In this episode, we’re talking about the habits you need to develop in order to become a successful freelancer. Being your own boss is so awesome, because it brings so much freedom into your day, but it also comes with a lot of responsibility. You are responsible for managing your own time, your own paycheck, and choosing your priorities.
Building and running a successful service-based business comes down to the small things you do every single day. Those little decisions add up and accumulate over time. In his book, The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg explains how 99% of the things we do every day are completely on autopilot. And that’s actually a good thing, because if you had to think about every little thing you do every day, you would lose your mind. But as a freelancer, as someone who wants to build a better life for yourself, it is so important that you think about your habits and curate them to fit the person and business owner that you want to be.

There is no one way to plan because everyone is different. This week we sit down with Megan Seeley, host of the Plan Like A Rebel Podcast, and we talk about how you can organize your life in a way that works for you.
Do you want to feel organized and in control of your life/business while also having room in your day for flow, inspiration, and whatever else life throws at you? Then this podcast episode is for you! https://heartcenteredservice.co/episode/13
