We’re really excited about this next phase of Heaving Bosoms because there’s so much that happens behind the scenes and having the support of a network can be incredibly helpful. We want to grow the HB reader community, introduce more people to the joy of romance, and spend our time focusing on the recaps we deliver, instead of the nitty gritty admin that makes podcasts go.
So! There will be a few changes for the foreseeable future:
You’ll hear ads for more than just romance books in our episodes (but romance books and small business will ALWAYS get precedence!! Email heavingbosomspodcast @ gmail dot com for more info on independent advertising) We’ll be publishing episodes in two parts, which will come out every Monday and Tuesday.This new format was a network suggestion and we’re going to give it a whirl! You still get an HEA every week, we’re just packaging it in less intimidating run times. We always listen to your feedback, so feel free to let us know your thoughts!As a result, we’re also revamping our Patreon offerings! Everyone who is a member of the Consent Boner tier and up by Wednesday, 9/11 at 12pm ET will be grandfathered in with their current benefits PLUS same day and ad free episodes. After that, we’re rolling out new tiers that give you more power to mix and match to get the bennies you really want. Follow our socials for more info on that!

HBs, we're back with more Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole! The second (first?) book in the series, A HUNGER LIKE NO OTHER, did not disappoint! This book starts at 11 and then refuses to simmer down. Get ready for big feelings, incredulity, and enthusiastic cackling (though, you should be used to that by now). There were so many times when Mel thought the hero could not be redeemed and somehow Kresley Cole pulls it off beautifully. She's a wizard!
TW: short mention of suicidal ideation and brief conversations about dubious consent, non-consent, and coercion.
Bonus Content: Sabrina went to SteamyLit Con and she didn't ask Anita Kelly about London's cow story... but she might have mooed? Hey HBs! This week we've got a delicious contemporary lesbian romance: D'Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding by Chencia C. Higgins! This perfect morsel has so many things we love! Reality TV, fat rep, queer rep, overcoming religious trauma, loving and eccentric families, and WOWZA the spicy times are faaaantastic. This is a hard recommend from us!
