Looking at the story of Esther, Scott Hill looked at how we can find a life of purpose by knowing our time, knowing what season we are in.
We can be drawn away from living a life of purpose to pursuing a life of passive comfort that leads to us numbing our purpose. (King Xerxes) Or pursuing a driven performance life that will crush our sense of purpose. (Haman)
Acknowledging that we as humans live in seasons and that God has something to teach us, tell us and heal us in each season can help give us a sense of purpose. For such a time as this. (Esther 4:14)

As we do this, our pains and weaknesses can be transformed, and a space for life and love is made.
