  • Knock knock! Who's there?

Why, it's only the Hook Cooks, here to cross the proverbial threshold into a truly doorknob-rattling adventure!

    ...

Look, please just... just let us in, it's raining, like really raining, and we need a place to keep our japes and tomfoolery free from the wet. Please just let us drip-dry in the foyer... we'll regale you with a door-based fable in exchange! Afterall, as the good book says, "Door unto others"!

  • There exists a magical time where the sunlight begins to die and the sky starts to darken, where all the mystical creatures of the world exist. The time when werewolves and vampires skulk, searching for fresh victims, themselves as well as each other. Also during that time, sometimes, you will find a dwarf riding on a steampunky kinda motorcycle. You may even find yourself listening to the dark and mystical podcast Hook Cooks. Tonight in the kitchen, imagine the boys weaving together a tale that is sure to suit the mood- the sensual thrumming of hot steel, spinning those hot wheels across a hot red rock. Could you even imagine?

  • On your marks, get set..... listen!

    To this!

It's an awe-inspiring Olympic episode from the tippy-top of the podcasting podium, your pals - the Hook Cooks. Our kitchen is thrumming with Olympic spirit, and we simply can't wait to represent you all (in a nonsensical sport of our own invention). Get excited, because we'll be talking about juicing at the Olympics - wait, relax, it's only like 60% what you think it is. So, in honour of the games, the athletes and the Olympic torch itself - let's get cooking!

  • We all wear masks throughout our lives- masks for bravery, masks to hide our pain, and sometimes masks made of the literal skin of a deity that we've cut down to silence those damn singing birds for once and for all. Whatever mask you choose to wear, make sure you wear it this evening while listening to the latest episode of the Hook Cooks! Along with our special guest for the evening, Chris Magilton from the audio drama podcast Among the Stars and Bones, the boys descend down a very dark staircase wearing velvety, violet robes stained with just a little bit of blood, and prepare themselves for one hell of a ritual! I wonder if we'll ever find out what's going down in this mysterious town.

  • It was a night just like tonight, I got a visit from some dame who came knockin' on my door. She walked in on a pair of legs. She tells me that she's caught up in some no-good nonsense. I tells her she must be joking. So she starts going on about the latest episode of the Hook Cooks, about its intregue and mystery, like it's the cat's pajamas. I take me a minute, maybe longer, and pour myself another glass. It always goes well with the cheap smokes that I like to chew on when I'm bored. "Do sepia-toned noir rips like me get healthcare?" I say out loud- but the room's empty. Where even am I? I try to find a door, but there's no way out. I sit back down.

  • Well hello there, travellers. Our performance tonight features none other than Barry from the legendary movie-plot-predicting podcast Blockblunders, so strap yourselves in. Take a seat and let us serve you a delightfully heady brew to tantilize your brainbuds and let all your worries drift away. Take in the rich, toe-tapping and relaxing ambiance of the newest episode of the Hook Cooks as we take your coat and dim the lights. But be careful not to lose track of time, or who you are. Well on tonight's episode of Hook Cooks we expose who is hot to trot, and who's got the brain rot. Think about it.

  • Do you hear that dripping? The constant droplets of water, falling square into the centre of your mind, endlessly? Even the largest mountains will eventually be worn down into dust by the ever-ongoing trickle of water. Now, what if that dripping were more drool like, and brackish? What if it were dripping from between two rows of teeth, and a pair of pale lips spread wide into a manic grin? Kinda gross, I'd imagine. But hey, at least they're having fun.

  • Have you ever thought about how you're always between other things? Like how sometimes you're sitting between other people, and other times you're in between reading about and listening to the latest episode of Hook Cooks! Transitioning between things is quite interesting, like how we're all always slowly marching towards entropy. But this time, wizards are coming. Multiverse-traversing and incredibly jacked wizards. You've been warned, and now it's time to change.

I know you're supposed to say it's an honour to be nominated, but Academy be damned - I think this episode of the Hook Cooks deserved to take out the fictional award I just invented. Check it out yourself today, and hey, maybe chuck us a sweet nom next year, we'll surely be back, BIGger and better!

  • For when you're in the mouda, reach for the newest episode from the guys in the Kitchen of Creativity! These three cheesy chaps are churning through space and whipping up rebellion, complete with nondescript hero/mentor goings on, within the leftovers of something resembling a Space War. • Don't bother tip-toeing around this episode- the hushed yet dulcet undertones of adventure, dripping from the silent, gaped maws of our hosts, snake inaudibly over still airwaves. But there is a light at the end of this tranquil tunnel- a musical light. A musical light wielded by a deaf subterranean creature. How, you ask? I don't know.

  • 'Twas the morning of Christmas,

    and all through the house,

not a PC part was stirring,

    not even a mouse.

The headphones were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that a podcast ep soon would be there

The listener and their crew were snug in their beds,

while visions of Hook Cooks danced in their heads...

And here it is! Our merriest, jolliest, jingliest episode yet! Pull up your stockings and rein in your deer, jingle your bells and throw pies at the Grinch. Wait.. that's not the Grinch.. WALT PSYCORP?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??

  • Effortlessly twirling his way through the kitchen of creativity this episode is a most sure-footed guest—the clever and courageous Dan Last of @DicePaperRole. Dan's taken a break from adventuring through the Feywild to join us in another jungle of the mind, one alive with birdsong and breakdancing. • Yes, yes, come, my child, into my Cottage and sit down on this lumpy pillow. Take that heavy coat off. Huff the thickly incensed air. In queso emergency, break that looking glass. Gaze into my crystal ball. What is it that I see in there? Why, it's the Hook Cooks off on another fantastical episode into their mind palaces, producing only the tastiest dishes, and they taste oh so Gouda. But quickly, my child, sup of their most tasteful essence Brie-fore they vanish backwards, or is it forwards, through time. This delight is laced with psychic energies, and revolving around none other than the inventer of Mouse himself!

  • Hey, you wanna hear a secret about the so-called MOON LANDING? Buried deep in this totally normal episode of Hook Cooks is a story the government doesn't want you to know. They want you docile, content, at peace with your understanding of the world and the moon and how we 'supposedly' landed on it. Listen close everyone, say NAH to NASA, and wake up. The truth may shock you.
