A post-game show from Kia Champions field in Gwangju after the Softbank Hawks 3rd minor league team beat the pants off the Kia Tigers future's league team 6-0. Despite the score, it was certainly worth our time as our postgame report will demonstrate.
Also a worst-persons update at the end of the episode.
As usual, you can learn more about the show by going to hwatingsportspodcast.com for our website and transcripts, except for live shows lolz.

Today on the show we're talking with some friends of Mr. S about their experiences with individual sports here in Korea. Just get in the hardest part of your training before rainy season! We also discuss their experiences shopping for sports equipment in Korea as well as how their experiences compare with others around the world. If you want a transcript of their speech, request it in the comments box and we'll see about getting a transcript made.
Worst persons in the world and a lot of them involve Son Heung Min for some reason. Maybe he should defect to the UK at this point?

Today on the show we're talking about the things about Korean and N. American culture in regards to sports! We talk about things in Korea that aren't seen in the states (like cheerleaders at billiards) and the opposite (tailgating parties). We explain a few reasons why those cultural differences exist (no sports radio) and plug the inspiration for the episode Ugly Koreans, Ugly Americans by Min Byeong Cheol 민병철. And finally Mr.S gets a bizarre request for Mr. P. from the Korean Supreme Court. Are they fans or something else is going on? Today's poll is about your feelings on bowing.

If you are that poor sod, you are a local legend. Today on the show we talk about our experiences watching sports at bars in Korea, even the rare sports bars. We go over the different types of bars, including the stinky old whisky bars, as well as a list of (running) sports bars that someone compiled. We talk about how you can get the staff to change the channel to your game of choice (though it helps them if you know the channel name), differences between bars and chicken hofs, and two actual sports bars Mr. S recently visited. Jokes about violent Canucks fans included for free! Do these sports bars have food for vegetarians? Yes...kinda...yaaayyyy....

It's the start of season 2 here at Hwa-Ting Sports! We're taking on the difficult topic of how women's sports are covered in Korea, the leagues that fell between the cracks like the WBAK and the lack of advertising for them. We mention the networks that seem to cover them the most like iTOP Sports and Maxsports, as well as discuss the WK-League and the problem with lack of interest. In our research we even uncovered a secret women's ice hockey league that plays in the cold frostbitten season of ... June. Then we talk about a few famous athlete and Worst Persons: The Update Edition!
