Hell Ya interviews Rue McKenrick, the father of the American Perimeter Trail (APT). Rue is a professional backpacker, conservationist and Executive director of the APTC. Rue spent 600 days hiking the roughly 14,000 mile APT, around the circumference of the U.S.A.. Rue is only days away from finishing the entirety of the trail, which he plans on doing this summer. Rue talks about his adventures on trail and the things he has learned from all his hiking experience as well as starting a long distance trail and conservation corridor.

Hell Ya interviews documentary filmmaker, Max "Bloodhound" Armstrong. Max released a beautifully raw documentary, "One Wing in the Fire," about Trail Angels on the Appalachian Trail or "modern day folk heroes," and in particular Rob Bird. Max thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail SOBO in 2018 after working ten months in the "northernmost truck-stop" north of the arctic circle, where he first met thru-hikers. Max shares his many experiences and lessons learned as well as a story about his mother, who passed away suddenly of pancreatic cancer, which led to a lesson of living a life shared.

Hell ya interviews Maggie "Legacy" Fowler about her many adventures.
