More Neurodiverse Diary Entries from way back in May! Colin Hoult, neurodiver, prepares for a big potentially life changing read through and then gets stuck up a hill and remembers the importance of listening to the birds. Its fun! Honest!

This week Colin continues to follow the Golden Thread out of the Darkness as he talks about an unlikely night of friendship in Greece and a moment of shame as a boy that still bothers him. You may be able to relate. Then he calls up his friend Tom quite literally!

Welcome back to Into the Neuroverse!
Colin Hoult, comedian and such, neurodiverse fellow invites you to join him on a journey into his mind and maybe yours as he returns with the latest series, The Golden Thread.
When things get too heavy and overwhelming and you're lost in the labyrinth of the world you struggle to connect with - what are the golden threads that help get you through? Each week, as well as giving his usual thinkings, Colin will be joined by a guest who will share their particular Golden Thread.
This week it's fantastic comedian Paul F Taylor who's about to go on a tour with his new show Head in the Clouds.
Colin's new show appropriately titled COLIN is on sale now! iamcolinhoult.com for tickets

Colin chats to one of his Afterlife co stars (arrogant) Ethan Lawrence who Colin basically tortured as Ken you may recall from the series. Ethan is a lovely chap and he enters the boardroom with his Magic Mike co star 'Chan' channing Tatum to discuss how to be nice, something that has eluded Colin his whole bastard life.

Hello! welcome in my show into the Neuroverse - I chat a bit to Jamie mainly about rabbits and such - then invite my old pal Nick Helm, star of Uncle, into my brain boardroom and eventually after talking for ages about comedy and creativity we talk about ANGER. I find it very hard to access anger and use it effectively and Nick sort of gives me some thoughts. It's a lovely conversation either way and probably the best hour you'll have this week I reckon.
Next week! I'll be chatting to my fellow Afterlife star Ethan Lawrence who played James.

Jamie's back in my Neuroverse. I give him the chance to call me an arsehole he doesn't take it. I dance around a quite tricky issue very badly, whilst eating a pear, I think I might be an arsehole
For Neurodiverse people this is clearly invaluable if entirely unprofessional. I talk about my Neurodiverse week then ask Jamie for some advice about not doing everything at once and then give a tip which is ENJOY YOUR WIFE!

Hello! I recorded a live episode at Word on the Street Bookshop which was a lot of fun and informative if a little strangely nerve wracking but then what isn't?
However something went horribly wrong and my voice wasn't recorded - we must not assign blame. Don't you dare! Anyway Joe who sorted it out did this pod with me instead where we sort of attempt to recreate how it went and the questions asked. I end up, as usual talking about all sorts of unrelated things but Joe is actually pretty good at bringing me back.
On a personal note - i am 'going through some stuff' at the mo as they say. Gotta be honest not sure if how / if I want to continue the pod. Its been 6 months and hasn't really took off as I'd hoped. That said there are some lovely dedicated listeners who I know get something from it but in all honesty not sure if anyone is even reading this. But basically this could be the end! lets find out next week I guess. If it is, thanks and good luck!

Jamie dives into Colin's awful orifice of oversharing. Sorry I regret that. The point is they talk about how Colin can't stop telling everyone everything and how that's not great and Jamie can't tell anyone anything which isn't either and they land in a deeply dull place in the middle. balance.

Colin and Jamie are back in an episode Jamie was not sure was good enough for airing but which Colin couldn't possibly redo, ending in a brawl where Colin declared 'Maybe we should just call it into the Pussyverse and be done with it!
However this attempts to understand how someone can be both ADHD and Austistic and what that might look like. I wanted to keep it in, in all seriousness, as it shows how annoying and relentless a full on ADHD moment can be when the poor other person is trying to keep things on track.

Join neurodiverse explorer actor and comedian Colin Hoult with his ever faithful and entirely neurotypical Mr Tumnus, Jamie Firth as they asks questions and dig for answers about our cheeky old minds.
This time, Colin discusses his struggle to keep friendships going without them being transactional and of course goes on a long diversion about Frankenstein and the Universal Monsters. Jamie gets the odd word in.

Neurodiverse Colin returns with his copilot Neurotypical Jamie to discuss how an ADHD day's simple plans can become completely derailed with the briefest well meaning comment of in seconds!
Explained mainly through a sort of metaphor of a sausage train which I hope isn't a euphemism - I refuse to Google! Also is King Charles the anti-George Bailey or something?

Into the Neuroverse returns for season 2.
More adventures into my neurodiversity and maybe yours! I'm ADHD and possibly autistic - too early to decide that? that'll be the ADHD.
Thanks for joining me and my Mr Tumnus, Jamie Firth on our journey.
This week! In an attempt to discuss my new year resolution to have conviction in my own worth I end up instead talking about gratitude. Do you understand gratitude? I didn't I think I do now, let me know.
I also talk a bit about my friend Rich who sadly passed away. One of the finest people you could ever meet and a big inspiration in my wobbly life.
