This week on the podcast, I welcome Dr. Bill Campbell in to talk about how to gain muscle the right way.
Bill is highly respected within the fitness industry.
He has a Ph.D. in Exercise, Nutrition, and Preventive Health from Baylor University & is currently a Professor of Exercise Science and Director of the Performance and Physique Enhancement Laboratory at the University of South Florida.Bill is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association and former president of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (where he is also 1 of 35 individuals to be recognized as a ‘Fellow’ of the organization—an honor reserved for those individuals who have outstanding contributions to the field of sports nutrition).
With over 200 scientific papers and abstracts, three textbooks, and 20 book chapters in areas related to physique enhancement, sports nutrition, resistance training, and dietary supplementation.
So when it comes to building muslce, Bill knows his shit.

On the 25th episode of the podcast, I chatted to one of Ireland's most exciting boxing prospects, Pierce O'Leary.
Pierce is a 7x Irish national champion and is currently making his way through the paid ranks, boasting a professional record of 10-0 with 6 KOs
He is currently promoted by Frank Warren Promotions.

He has run various labs as a director, studied at Yale University & is also Head of Education for HD Muscle & Head of Nutrition Education for Pre-Script. This man has an academic resume that is laughably long.

Ray shot to fame as a contestant on the reality show "BIg Brother" in the early 00s, before moving into the Irish entertainment industry through radio & TV hosting.
He has worked for some of Ireland's top stations, including Q102, $FM & iRadio.
We discussed how all of this came to be, how the concept of Bodyfirst came about, and essentially how he juggles all of these business ventures at the one time, which I still can't fathom!

Episode 11 of the Podcast brought in Stefano Manassero to discuss how you can ensure that longevity plays a part in your fitness regime so that you can be strong and healthy into your 50s and beyond.
Originally from Italy, but living in Ireland since the '80s, Stefano has a long career in the Irish fitness industry, especially bodybuilding, he was Mr. Ireland in 1994, and then again in 2014, he became Mr. Ireland Over-50.
Stefano still coaches and preps competitors to this day and runs his own physiotherapy clinic in Dublin.

This week, James spoke to Dr. Dean St. Mart. Ph.D. who has a background in Organic Chemistry & novel drug design.
Dean is the chief formulator for UK Based Supplement Brand "Supplement Needs" and has his own line of products with the company. He is also a competitive bodybuilder in his own right and aspires to bring functional medicine into the world of bodybuilding, especially around the use of PEDs.
We discussed at length, his products under the SN banner, Educating the younger generation on PED usage, the utility of Nootropics as well as the benefits of Intra-workout fuelling strategies.
Dean was a pleasure to have on, and we will have to get him back in the future.
