We had so much fun doing the first #HusBanned episode a year ago, and hearing all your brilliant voice notes, that we've done a part 2! My hilarious friend Kristen Smith (AKA @whineorwine on Instagram) is back and this time we let her partner David and my husband Jesse into the studio as we give the boys their right to reply.
We also listen to some more of your fantastic voice notes and seriously, some of these are absolutely hilarious! Thank you so much for sending them in and sorry I couldn't read them all out.

I'm back and excited to return with a very interesting episode on our House Of Boyce renovations with Toby Howell from Mitchell Evans Architects and Will Lloyd from White & Lloyd Building Surveyors (and my husband Jesse who joins us this episode too). Toby and Will answer all our questions and some of yours too and I hope you find their insight as helpful as we did.
If you enjoy the podcast please do leave me a 5-star iTunes rating and review and be sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts from for more episodes.

This episode was such a laugh to do! Not only because I was with the most hilarious mum I know from the school gates Kristen Smith (aka @whineorwine on Instagram) but because you guys sent in your absolutely brilliant #HusBanned stories, about the ridiculous things our husbands do that drive us up the wall!
Thank you to Kristen for being a brilliant guest once again and to my husband Jesse and Kristen's partner David for being good sports (and for David's tech support!) and to you all for your fantastic voice notes. Sorry I couldn't read them all out but we will definitely do another episode for #HusBanned Part 2!

Sasha Louise Pallari is has recently gone viral thanks to her superb campaign #FilterDrop which is encouraging social media users and companies to drop filters from their posts, to create a more honest approach to what we see and upload online. She is a complete inspiration and her fierce and resilient approach to what she believes in has forced the Advertising Standards Agency to officially change the rules as to what companies and influencers can sell products online.
She is not just a model, she is a role model who believes we can all be beautiful but we can also be more than that.

Everyone needs to know about award-winning Nessa Organics and the amazing Fiona Toomey, CEO and founder, who is changing the skincare industry for the better. We've all used products that have cheap and nasty ingredients in that do your body more harm than good, Nessa is the exact opposite and Fiona joins For Pod's Sake to explain why she was so determined to make clean, organic products, free of junk, that women can use during and after pregnancy AND are safe for your newborn too.
She also talks about Bliss, the charity she supports babies who are born prematurely or sick, and their families, and her own story that led her to that organisation and how Nessa supports the charity too.

All-rounder Ashley James can do it all; she is a highly sought-after DJ, accomplished television presenter, a popular model, an activist and empowerment coach, an articulate social commentator with a huge social media following and a passionate campaigner for good causes. AND she is soon going to be a mother.
She tells me about how much she is enjoying being pregnant, what made her changed her stance on touching up Instagram photos and how being locked in a house with none other than Ann Widdecombe changed her outlook on life entirely.

Whilst in isolation due to Coronavirus and with the help of technology, I speak to Jo Tutchener-Sharp, founder of Scamp & Dude, the award- winning superpower infused fashion brand for kids and grown- ups. Scamp & Dude is the stylish and comfortable brand that us mum's are loving living in whilst at home during lockdown. Jo has also started a competition for kids (and adults too) to design a superhero - and the winner will be printed on a T shirt, as well as so much being donated to the front line staff at the NHS.
This is a brand that wants to make a difference? Why? Listen to Jo's incredibly inspiring and tear jerking story with how and why Scamp & Dude began and that Jo really is a real superhero.

In an ideal world, we’d keep makeup artist Wendy Rowe in our bathroom. Famous for making skin look luminous and beautiful for the likes of Victoria Beckham and Sienna Miller and crowed the 'master of nudes' I talk to Wendy about how she makes skin look so flawless, what we should look out for if we decide to have any treatments and if she has David Beckham's phone number.
I have been lucky enough for her to paint my face so I know how talented she is and I want to pick her brains about her skin care routine and makeup hacks. I've already tried out her beauty advice and I can safely say it works!

Annabel Karmel, the UK's No.1 children's cookery author & weaning expert has launched her 47th book 'Weaning made Simple' and it's brilliant! As I start to introduce my 6 month old baby to solids, the same questions echo between all parents, When is my baby ready for first foods? Should I be doing baby-led weaning? What foods should I give my baby? How much and how often should I feed him? What are critical nutrients? How do I introduce them? What do I need to know about allergies?
With over 5 million cookbooks sold worldwide and 30 years of expertise, Annabel equips parents with cutting-edge information and the practical tools needed to make this a stress-free, enjoyable time.
She has taught me so much from this podcast and her new book that I wish I could go back in time and do the same with my other two older children. The first tastes are more important than you think!

Christmas is a CRAZY time of year - particularly for mothers who basically do everything whilst trying to make it all look seamless and easy. It's not. It's stressful and usually we end up crying into our Turkey with pure exhaustion. If this sounds like you, I'm sure you will relate to this episode. I speak with a hilarious mum I met at the school gates Kristen Smith aka @whineorwine about the madness....and magic that leads up to Christmas.

Whether you're a new mum or seasoned mother, we can spend a lot of nights up with our baby and feel bored and lonely. Enter The NighFeed app created by model and mother two, Ruth Crilly. This new app is a must to download and makes those oh so long and isolated night feeds much more exciting. With fantastic content and advice crossing all areas from newborns, to postpartum bodies, to beauty must haves, this app will keep you entertained and dare I say it... enjoy getting up in the middle of the night. Bravo Ruth, bravo.

Can you believe that Stylist magazine is 10 years old? Me neither - and it's still going from strength to strength amidst other magazine publications folding. I speak with editor-at-large Alix Walker who tells me the reason behind Stylist's success started with certain rules. No stories on dieting, no paparazzi shots, so celebrity gossip, but instead all about pro women who don't pick each other apart. Stories of inspirational women worldwide who all support one another. Amen. Please take the time to listen, subscribe, comment and rate!

Let's face it - us mum's need a night off! To let off some steam, to feel like we've still got it and to leave all responsibility at home. To listen to old school garage and feel safe when on a night out. This episode I speak with Lorna Hayward who started a mum's night out called PizzUp making it possible for women nation-wide to enjoy a night off with other like minded mums. Joining us is 'So Solid Crew' Lisa Maffia (major girl crush) who has performed at PIZZUP before.
From a night that started out with 30 women has now over 500 people booking tickets for a night out....
Have a listen to know more about this INCREDIBLE night out and book tickets for the Christmas event aka #CHRIZZUP on December 19th 2019 at Clapham Grand. We had such a laugh recording this one... wine and conversation were flowing.

This is a very honest and frank podcast about the amount of alcohol we're drinking as mothers. Why are we drinking so much? How is it effecting us physically and mentally and how does it feel going sober? I speak with Clare Pooley, who's been sober for 4 years, blogger and author or 'The Sober Diaries', also Clemmie Telford who has been sober for 4 months and my sister Bonnie Barry who very honestly admits that perhaps she's drinking too much - but what is too much? Are we all in the same boat? How easy is it to give up booze and what difference does being sober make? Such an inspirational talk and one that has made me want to make a change in my life... for the better!

Since my last podcast I gave birth to a little girl. Luckily this labour was a very positive one - very different to my previous traumatic one. This podcast I speak with Hollie de Cruz, founder of The Yes Mum Birthing Project (who I practiced hypnobirthing with) and Clemmie Telford. We share our experiences about how to have a positive birth story regardless of how you birth your baby. I learnt a lot myself from this podcast and recommend a listen if you're pregnant with your first or fifth baby.

In my debut podcast, I talk to Liz Day at Mothercare, Kerri Northcott and Sylvia Flote about the #PushItOut campaign that went viral. Honesty in maternity advertising has started to change from the pressures of myself and others putting on brands to use real pregnant model and not fake prosthetic bumps. Why do brands do this? What does the consumer think? What do the models think? Why has the fashion industry evolved so much in other areas apart from maternity?

Right in amongst the summer break, I spoke to Kerri Northcott, Kristen Smith and Liz Day (Mothercare) about the trials and tribulations of keeping your sanity in check during testing month of August. How do you plan ahead and fill the diary? Is resorting to the master parenting hack of outright bribery ok? How do you avoid feeling guilty if the kids seem bored? We also asked Basil (7) and Ivy (5) for their hot take on how we're doing!
