Dr. Bill welcomes two special guests—Shari Doran and Jane Hajduk dive into their journey through life's acts and their latest venture, Thee Third Act, a series that humorously tackles menopause. They recount how college friendships blossomed into creative partnerships in Hollywood, leading them to write and produce together.
"Thee Third Act," they explain, is about embracing change post-menopause when women often seek new purposes beyond traditional roles like motherhood or careers. Sherry and Jane emphasize the importance of support during this transition, which they found in each other while starting their production company amidst hot flashes and hormonal shifts.
They offer advice on content creation too; emphasizing persistence in social media promotion prior to launching episodes on YouTube while engaging audiences through personal connections. Monetization strategies include reaching subscriber milestones for ad revenue sharing on platforms such as YouTube.
As they wrap up with Dr. Bill, laughter fills the conversation over misadventures involving yam paste remedies for menopausal symptoms—an example of finding humor amid life's challenges—and tease future projects that continue exploring women's experiences in later stages of life with wit and relatability.
You might think menopause affects dental health, but it's actually pregnancy that brings changes like gingivitis—menopause doesn't.
