Shohei Ohtani homered first batter of the game and it never really felt that close. Lineup is cooked, JD Martinez is playing over Jesse Winker, Jose Quintana was out early, Carlos Mendoza ran out of options, the wheels might be falling off. Ok, being dramatic and the vent session turns into a big pep talk before Game 5.

That was awful. We got smacked at home. Nay, shutout at home. Terrible. Francisco Alvarez is lost, we don’t know why JD Martinez is playing over Jesse Winker, and straight up nobody hit. We believe this team can bounce back and this was a good vent session.

Mets won. Series is tied heading back to Citi Field. The world said we were dead and guess what?? We are ALIVE. Francisco Lindor started it off, Mark Vientos had the big hit, and shocker games Sean Manaea pitched against the Dodgers five years ago had no impact on this one. Everyone in the lineup took good at-bats and the duo of Ryne Stanek and Edwin Díaz keeps getting better.
