I was happy to have Gin Stephens back on the podcast! Our first interview on intermittent fasting and her book, Fast. Feast. Repeat. generated a lot of views & questions, so the first part of this interview, Gin answered some of those questions!
Then we discussed her latest book, "Cleanish," all about eating (mostly) clean, living (mainly) clean, and unlocking our bodies natural ability to self-clean! Our bodies have the amazing ability to naturally detox from toxins, yet when it becomes overwhelmed, systems start to fail and disease can set in. Gin discusses where hidden toxins are found, names and labels to be aware of, and ways to assist our body in the detox processes! She provides science-based evidence on the diet we should "mainly" follow, personal products, and cleaning products we should avoid, and ones we can safely use! She also provides the evidence for fasting and the benefits to overall health & well-being it can provide! Gin is full of information, and truly an expert when it comes to intermittent fasting!
