We're so lucky to have Gareth Reynolds (The Dollop, Here To Help Podcast) in the studio with us, so we made him watch a clip from a 2010 children's show as a "thank you" for hanging out with us.
"Quotes" is a music video we found on The Electric Company YouTube channel. It's a fun little rap song performed by John Leguizamo. He teaches us the appropriate use of a comma before using quotation marks. We don't necessarily believe his teachings to be true, but we love Johnny Legz, so we forgive him.

We're THRILLED to have The Dollop's Gareth Reynolds with us in the studio this week! Have you ever wondered who would win in a bar fight between Zac Efron and iconic comedian/podcaster Gareth Reynolds? Well, we're going to figure it out! We also talk about who is the most famous Zach in the world. Will our very own Zachary Ruane take the title? No. Of course not. But we have a good laugh.

Cassandra Paige (comedian/podcast extraordinaire) joins us in the pod studio to chat about the mid-noughties phenomenon "Dora The Explorer". Why? Because back in 2005, our boy Johnny Legz did a 40 minute special of this popular children's television show. The episode is titled "Dora's Pirate Adventure" and it tells the story of Dora (an absolute boss) and her friends who have their pirate costumes stolen by a bunch of asshole pigs.
John Leguizamo voices Pirate Pig Captain - the leader of the asshole pigs.

Doesn't get much more Leguizamo-y than a television show that features the guy's name in the title, baby!
This week, we chat about "Leguizamo Does America" - an MSNBC docu-series from 2023. Leguizamo visits, explores and deep dives into different Latino communities throughout the USA. He takes salsa lessons, eats sandwiches at a bodega and chats about Latino representation in US politics, Hollywood and history books with various Latino legends across America.

An official hot chippies battle has taken place! We break down the brands, the cook, the structure, the salt. Which hot chippies hits the best after a boozy night? Which hot chippies helps comedians get through a stressful festival run? Why is Hungry Jacks so damn divisive?! We speak with Tom "The Chippies King" Armstrong and get his professional opinion.
Also, we both loved Baby Reindeer. We talk about why.

It's hard to find a movie that our guest (comedian and avid cinephile Alexei Toliopoulos) hasn't seen... but we did it! And it's a movie that many of you have been BEGGING us to unpack.
This week, we chat about "The Pest" - a 1997 comedy written and starring our favourite character actor, John Leguizamo!
This film tells the story of Pestario - a goofy scam artist that owes money to the Scottish mob. With the hope of winning $50000, he agrees to take part in a bizarre hunting game presented to him by an insane German who plans on killing Pestario and mounting his head to add to his collection.
John plays The Pest.

We also explore the power of the chef dick and why none of us have ever hooked up with a politician. Delightful!

This week, Mish and Zach watched "Fish N Chips: The Movie" - an animated film from 2013 directed by Dan Krech.
It's a film about a fish named Fish and a cat named Chips who are both dealing with some deep generational trauma surrounding the ownership of a small bone on a string that they wear like a necklace. Fish's ancestors stole the bone from Chip's ancestors after literally eating them. Chips desperately wants to get the bone back so that he can return it to his family, but Fish is being a little bitch about it.
The opening titles of this movie are written in comic sans.
John Leguizamo voices the cat named Chips.

Mish and Zach are back - but we're trying something new! If you love Leguizamarama for the chit-chats at the start, well, you're in luck! We're going to dedicate a whole episode each week to our mindless banter. This week, we're talking all things sexy thrillers. Why was cinema in the 90s so horny? Why has sex in films changed so dramatically? Can Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas save an entire genre? We also reveal the Leguizamo movie we'll be watching this week so you can watch it along with us! What a bloody treat.

What a TREAT to be joined by actor/writer/comedian Naomi Higgins this week!
This week we watched "The Ministers" starring Harvey Keitel and John Leguizamo. This film tells the story of a lady cop who only goes to one restaurant and she spends her life trying to find the guy who killed her father ages ago when she was a child.
John Leguizamo plays TWINS! Double Legz! You can tell the twins apart because one of them is a sweetie and the other one has a burn on his face and is evil.
