The Hulu TV series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has been a topic of controversy and online turmoil since it aired earlier this year in September. Several women in the TV series are certainly not representative of an every day "Mormon" wife and mother—far from it.

The Doctrine of Exaltation seems to be waning. When we lower our focus, we end up with a Therapy or Prosperity Gospel. Exaltation and The Doctrine of Christ are inextricably connected. Both doctrines have been lost to the world several times.
Charity is tied to Exaltation. Without Charity, we are nothing.

Orthodox members of the Church today often feel anchorless as the Church has changed its message to them. Other members are encouraged because there are no authoritative checks from the pulpit on their social agendas. The Church used to directly address its day's cultural and social ills and influences. Today, it is silent on these issues, except one, religious freedom.
Is the Church's tax-exempt status a muzzle? Or are we going in a different direction?

Elder Bednar frames President Nelson's words, "In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost" within the coming advances of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
AI boyfriends and girlfriends are already available for companionship, support, affirmation, and assistance. This will lead to "artificial infidelity" with AI boyfriends and girlfriends. AI will be both "perilous" and provide "opportunities." Everything depends on how we use it. Will we use AI to replace our own "work" and growth? Or will we use it in a supportive role?

Interestingly, BYU just had a representative of the UNWRA speak on campus. The Antisemitism of college campuses is now infiltrating the activist administrations and teachers of American K-12 education.

A Stake Relief Society LGBTQ presentation called for the use of preferred pronouns, wearing the Pride Flag or rainbows, and recommended replacing "brother" and "sister" with "friend."
These presentations, which are all very similar, are happening all over the US. They essentially promote the Pride movement and do not include teachings of Exaltation and the Law of Chastity.

The Pride Cycle moves back and forth, just like the Hegelian Dialectic. Many today say that Woke is doomed. I disagree. The adversary will never stop. New words and strategies will always be invoked and become "in vogue." Technology plays a significant role in the pride cycle.
The additional liberty and options it provides create more opportunities for bad choices. The gospel is political. The Book of Mormon is a highly political book.

A new BYU article from the student newspaper, the Daily Universe, advocates for "women's reproductive rights." The Church earlier this month confirmed its position on abortion that "it remains the same."
Members are swapping political parties, and many who are voting Democrat are beginning to adopt that platform, including "reproductive rights."

Lehi and Nephi were scribes! A Josephite or even Manassite scribal school that wrote in Egyptian existed all the way back to Abraham, was passed down to Joseph of Egypt, and down to Lehi and Nephi, explains Book Of Mormon Scholar Noel B. Reynolds. This scribal school was in the original tradition of the Patriarchs, as opposed to the Judahite school, which "harmonized" various Judahite teachings.
The Josephite scribal school produced the Brass Plates and the Book of Mormon, while the Judahite school, which was unfamiliar with the Egyptian language, produced the Old Testament. Joseph of Egypt flourished in Egypt because of his scribal training! Mormon and Moroni were scribal school boys at a very young age.
